Is it almost 11am and you are hungover so bad that you want to eat a handful of ibuprofen and sleep until tomorrow? Don't go... back to bed, go to mavericks and have a bloody mary (uncle Mike says they are the best). Swig the snit of beer. Ok, you needto pay attention to this next part...... order up a beer. Just sip this one as you nurse your body back up to operatingtemperature. Around 1230 the shakes will dissipate. Order another beer, and another, and another. They'll take good careof you. If you stick around long enough you'll be able to sing karaoke. That's when the inner star buried deep within youwill shine so brightly that the other bar goers will get sun burn! First night we checked it out it was awesome! Our bartender was amazing and the place was full of good people. Went out for a... birthday for a second night and must have hit unhappy hour with the bartender, he had no problem letting us know his parentsowned the bar. I played pool. After inserting quarters, not all the balls roll out to rack em. Make sure to use the stick or ball to hit em out... ;) There's a nice deck area to enjoy fresh air and bean bag toss near the fence. Bartender was amazing. Great drinks! Kelly is my current bartender I?m a nurse from Palmer and totally sober. I was cut off after one drink because Kelly said I was... drunk he encouraged me to contact his boss. I?ve had 4 total drinks in 8 hours not all at this venue . Multiple people haveencouraged me that this is a normal thing with Kelly (and offered to buy me a drink) especially with attractive women. Kellyafter refusing me drinks x2 stated to me If I hadn?t told other people about his refusal he might have served me later . Lookthe thing i I like a good time and I like to drink while out fishing but I?ll never come back to this bar this is a crazy daybecause after 39 years and being a bartender I?ve never had this, but I?m going to be designated driver back to the house due tothis we were going to take a cab. Super dive but it's a great bar. Love doing soul night here!
It's a nice dive bar to either end your night or pre-game before heading out to all the other local bars. It's also a smoking... bar so if your not into tobacco smoke then I'd suggest the fire pit out back to get some fresh air and enjoy a nice fire andmeet some interesting people and maybe even a free drink. But all in all it's still a good bar to art least say you've beenthere. Read more
