Absolutely love this place. My son said they have the best French fries he ever had. Everything was absolutely delicious!
No stuffed mushrooms,(on the menu) waitress said they don't have. I ordered crab dip, it came with 3 bread sticks.. usually... crab dip is thick and gooey, it wasnt....in fact after emptying the bowl what remained was oily see pic. My daughter had shrimpscampi. It was disgusting... my $32 6oz Filet Mignon was the only item that was edible. I come down here alot.. I'll never eathere again! Read more
Forgot to take pictures before eating, but the food was delicious! We had a large group of 7 and they were pretty quick to get... us all seated. The waitress was nice and very knowledgeable about their drinks and menu. There was a lot of foot traffic in andout which let in some flies, one unfortunately ended up on my salad plate which they immediately replaced. If you get outsideseating it's right on the water. Overall, great atmosphere and I'd definitely dine here again. Read more
Lovely waterfront venue. Kind and attentive service - not rushed through your meal (but also not particularly fast). I wish I... took a photo of the Crab Dip appetizer as I think we all enjoyed that the most. The crab cakes were acceptable. I’m not a hugefan of mahi-mahi but I wanted to try something different & I liked it. I has a very mild taste, but I liked the sauce that wasserved with it. My daughter enjoyed the Seafood Cannelloni, and if I go back that is what I would get as I have never hadanything like that in another restaurant. It’s a little expensive but not overpriced for good food in a premium waterfrontlocation. They had lovely indoor and outdoor seating and great views of the water. Read more
We were looking for another spot in Solomons island, to celebrate and just happened along to the Island Hideaway. Such a great... vibe, very comfortable. I loved how you can drive your boat up to the restaurant. Many patrons arrived this way. The food wasgood, and pricey. I had a salad with mahi mahi and my +1 had a burger and fries. We both had 2 beers and we ordered dessert togo. Our bill was over $150.00.I loved the vibe so much, I would visit again, except how folks dined with their furry friends.One patron even took his pet around for ppl to pet. It was our first visit here and the drinks were great, service exceptional and this one dish, the Coconut Lemon Chicken had this... to die for sauce and a lemon wheel. We actually sliced the lemon wheel in half just to taste and surprisingly it was SO GOODeven with the rind. This place has a good vibe and on the water. Read more
We stayed on Solomon Island MD for a total of four days and this is our favorite restaurant we went to! We had reservations for... the Hideaway before coming to the island but the owner of the bed-and-breakfast we were staying at told us how amazing thisplace was so we really were looking forward even more so to our upcoming dinner reservation. When we were arrived we sat rightaway and received the best service in the world! The atmosphere was great and they had both indoor and outdoor seating right onthe water. The food was our absolute favorite of all the places we ate the food was the best on the entire island! The pasta isall made from scratch right there in the kitchen and all the meat and seafood we were told was local caught / kept. Did Imention how incredible the food was because it truly was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. If this place wascloser to our actual ho,e we would eat there every day because the food is that good! Read more
Great food and service. We kept ordering appetizers rather than full meals. Each was well prepared and flavorful. The pictured... appetizer is a sushi inspired tuna in a jalapeno sauce on fried rice cakes. Yummy. Our server was attentive without beingoverbearing. Highly recommended.
