This place lacks minimum dining etiquettes - no water and cutlery provided for dine in which is basic for every restaurant.... Horrible customer service. We have ordered panipuri, Irani samosa, chole bature, veg noodles, gobi 65 and aloo kulcha. We haven'ttasted chole bature as it looked very raw. It wasn't even cooked properly. Most of the items are bland. Everything except samosawere of low quality and tasteless. I have rated one star for only Samosa. This is the first Indian restaurant where we felthighly disappointed and have literally thrown food in the dustbin. Read more

This restaurant was recommended by one of my friend. I placed an catering order for my birthday party, everyone in the party... enjoyed having it. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Everything is prepared as requested. I personally enjoyed eatinggoat biryani. The taste and also the spicy level which I orders was simply wow!!! I heart fully thank the staff who are workingthere for giving such a good taste. Ice creams and the idea of keeping live pani puri stall in the restaurant is amazing, whichI haven?t seen anywhere in Cleveland. I just recalled my college days with my friends back in India. I highly recommend thisplace and look forward to eating and order stuff from this restaurant . Read more

"If you think all the shame and embarrassment will go away with not paying, then please go ahead." "Luckily I have not met... people around me who will make me feel embarrassed." These were the Owner's derogatory comments on complaining about the barelycooked and stale food. I ordered food for few guests who fondly wanted to try Indian food for the first time. When we serveddinner, the naan was barely cooked and the curries were smelly and stale. I immediately clicked a video and texted the owner asevidence. He wanted me to send someone to pick up some fresh ones and send the half cooked and stale food at his restaurant forinvestigation. Really? Was he expecting someone to leave the dinner table and go pick up/drop food? I was so ashamed and feltsorry that I and some of my friends had to jump in action to prepare some curries and Indian breads, to avoid people going homewith a bad experience. The owner seemed more interested in getting money out of me rather than understanding the situation. Hethen sent me the copy of the full bill and wanted me to pay. I told him I was not willing to pay for the portion that i couldnot utilize and his responses were very unprofessional. This is the level of customer service Chowrastha has towards itscustomers. If the owner has such audacity to talk to his customer this way, I wonder what the staff's behavior would be. Seemstheir quick popularity has gone into their head with no empathy towards the customers. With this horrible experience, I will forsure never set my foot in Chowrastha. I will definitely not recommend and would also urge to be careful while ordering fromthem. Read more

Had no idea this place existed, and I?m so happy I found it! After being so disappointed when visiting another Indian restaurant... down the road in Hudson, this place restored my faith in local Indian cuisine! It was a bit weird at first because the name isnot on the sign, so I had to circle around the shopping center a few times to find it. It sits inside a market, so it?s easy tomiss it. Wide selection, decent prices, great portions and excellent quality! I definitely recommend and will return! Read more

Absolutely, one of the worst places I have ever eaten. There are flies everywhere and dirt on the floor. The whole place does... not look sanitary. Horrible, careless customer service with "just eat and get out" attitude. The daily specials do not haveprices next to them. They can actually be one of the most expensive things to buy on the menu, plus you are encouraged to tipeven though, its self service. The place is really congested, there is barely any space to sit down and eat. I ordered GoatBiryani mild. They brought it spicy. Half of the meat was actually fat and bone. There was no side salad. I got plastic spoononly. Also, tables do not have napkins. You have to request napkins from a clerk. Now I have mild stomach ache. The managementseems to think they can trick customers into paying the most they can for the worst quality of services and products. They areall about short term gains. They will lose customers like that. You can actually get a much better service and food in McDonaldsfor less. King Tandoor restaurant nearby is much better. Read more

Very delicious and authentic Indian street food at reasonable prices with good service. We had family over from different parts... of the country and all of them really liked and enjoyed the food. Although everything was delicious, ?Karim Nagar Chiken Pulav?was an especial hit among our group. Being a big order Arjun(owner) personally handled ours and made sure pickup was abreeze. Will definitely carry out again. Read more

This place was really good in the beginning, but recently all the items we ordered were of low quality and even stale. We used... to regularly order paneer butter masala and egg puffs. Past 2 times, paneer curry even had a bad smell. Egg puffs also wentbad. I complained through phone and the guy who talked really did not care. It seems like now they have attracted lot ofcustomers and they don't care any more about food quality. Read more

I ordered Chicken Dum Biryani for an office party. They delivered the best authentic biryani with great flavor. The chicken... pieces were tender and rice just perfect. Raita was fresh and mirch ka salan was too good. My team loved it and the food wasover in no time. Also they have great selection of appetizers, Chillie Chicken, Punukulu, puffs that never disappoint me. Ihighly recommend Chowrastha Biryani and snacks anytime. Read more
