Service is slow, but food is great Need to speed up Service ,have menu on table, so food can be ordered at same time as... drinks. Bill should be put at table soon after food is delivered. Restroom needs attention, soap won't clean hands, paper towelsare scarce. Very nice people ???? Read more

Sami's is the local go to in my community. It's an oasis in the desert, as far rural diners in the Eastern Greene county area... go. The staff are friendly, breakfast is all day, the menu has a large variety and the food is decent quality. I ordered a steakwith eggs, hash browns, biscuits with gravy and 4 crepes. The steak was ordered medium rare and eggs over easy. The eggs werespot over easy on but the steak was prepared medium well. Regardless, I enjoyed my meal. I was glad I ordered a coke though inaddition to my water because something is up with their tap water. Everything came to $25.67. The atmosphere is what you wouldexpect for a country diner that use to be a gas station. The old overhang for the pumps is perfect for keeping the foul weatheroff your head when you're getting in and out of your vehicle. I will be back, and I would recommend for a local bite. Read more

Can't screw up a grilled cheese can you? Well...I suppose it wasn't screwed up, but it could have used some more time on the... heat. Two types of cheese on these. Looked like a sliced American and some grated mix of light and dark cheese. Bread was doneup well enough. Lower heat could have helped. Wanted to hit another Mom and Pop restaurant today, and seen Sami's was close by.This is an old gas station tuned into a restaurant. Restaurant was clean with the exception of many finger smudges on doorglass. Prices were on par with today's prices. If you use your card they add another 3.5% to your bill. Menu was HUGE. Way tomany options for me, and made me fear some of the freshness of some items (fish, shrimp, etc). Staff was friendly. If you needsomething to eat, this would work for ya. I don't think I'd specifically look to go here as a destination though. Staff 5 Food2 Cleanliness 3 Read more

Food was alright. But poor listening skills on waitress's end. Not to mention kind of messy place. Dirty tables with an empty... restaurant staff laying in booth and the other one eating. Probably won't go back. Read more

Don't let the outside deter you. Yes, it's in an old gas station. However, inside its clean and smells great. Bacon must... defeat car smells. The food was delicious. The waitress was nice and friendly. Food was inexpensive. Worth a drive! Read more

Breakfast and supper food are both great at a low price. My complaints are that there are two whiteboards that do not have... matching specials. I heard customers ordering food (cheese sticks and fried fish) that wasn't on the menu or either whiteboard. One menu had items marked out and another menu did not. Lastly, the hours need updated on Google Maps and Facebook. They areopen until 10 PM on Fridays. Read more
