I don?t write many reviews but I felt the need with this place. The experience we had was one of really bad ones if not the... worst I have ever had. The waitress was beyond rude. While we were standing outside to be seated, no one approached us until wegrabbed their attention, they treated us like we were invisible, felt like racism. Understaffed and chaos, rude and horrible service. We were seated at the bar even when tables were available, clear... discrimination in the way we were serviced. (We could feel a hint of racism) Had to ask multiple times for basic things likecutlery, napkins, plates weren?t clean and had to wait for 10 mins before someone replaced them for us. Only saving grace wasthe taste of the food, which was good. Also, they decided to add their own tip (18%) which definitely wasn?t worth the servicewe received (well, lack of it)! Beware of pricing if you go with a large group. We were 15 people and they charged $77 per person for food which was only 4... salads, 3 pizzas, ravioli and a few desserts (alcohol was a separate and reasonable $20 per person). When we looked at the billafterwards, there was no detail in the bill to figure out how the food we expected to cost $500 had gone up in price to $1150.When may going what we ordered to the menu, it seems they added a multiplier to our food order because the math just didn?t addup. Overall, food was delicious, service was attentive and we really enjoyed the meal until the end when we felt cheated by theway they handled the bill. I don?t write many reviews but I felt the need with this place. The service we received was some if not the worst I have ever... had. The waitress/bartender was beyond rude and told us we could sit and order once two other tables cleared. Now the tablescleared and sat someone else and when we approached her, she could not have been ruder. I really have never experienced thatlevel of inconsideration. And we approached the owner to let him know about our experience with his staff, he very clearly didnot care. We did not try the food because at that point we did not want to spend money at their establishment but if you arelooking for an area with kind staff and a nice vibe THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. What a treat! This place is a hidden gem, to be found in a small mall, off the main road. If you don't know about this place,... it's hard to find! But if you do, you are in for a wonderful treat! I crave good Italian restaurants, and this is one I won't beforgetting any time soon. Wonderful food, nice ambience, excellent service, and really good wine :) I can't say enough goodthings about the Beats-Burrata salad we ordered. The Beats were delicious, Burrata just wonderfully creamy, and overall saladwas seasoned just perfect! To complement the salad, we had ordered a Bruschetta and a Margarita Pizza. Each were delicious, witha wonderful thing crust, that is so rare to find these days. And the glass of Montepulciano I had - beautiful! Really tasty meal! Lasagne and eggplant parmesan. The sauce of both is wonderful. Loved the tiramisu. Would have given 5 starts... but the eggplant dish was not very warm and they had no bread. This was at 530pm. Very small place but cozy. Friendly andattentive staff. Make a reservation. Just go! Read more
