Any one that is saying this place has good food is just trying to be nice and giving a review out of sympathy. Mediocre at best.... Crowd is over 60 mostly. Ordered crab scampi. Came out Francese. Over mounds of not fresh cooked spinach ( mush and soft, maybeprecooked? Definitely not cooked per order fresh), and stunk. Like not fresh stunk strong. And pools of yellow sauce(same sauceon several other dishes) . I?ve been eating soft shell crab over 5 times over last month, and they don?t stink when cooked.Could not eat more than a bite. My family and I were starving when we encountered Oscar's. We ate a late lunch after physicals at the doctor's office next... door. The service was a bit a sloppy for being the only table in the house. Delighted to sit at a gorgeous banquet in the bararea that I imagine is lively during the busy times. The dining room is one big open space with a gas fireplace which probablygets really loud. The portions are huge, we left satisfied with leftovers except I could hardly find chicken in my chickenCaesar salad. My dad had veal parmagiana which came with a salad. Mini chiabbata is served immediately when you are seated. Unique wine list with a separate appealing bar menu. Handicap accessible. Outdoor seating available. Our bill was reasonablypriced at eighty dollars with a round of drinks. I recommend at least giving Oscars a try as we will be back in the future. Wethought the establishment was classy. Read more
Ordered a late takeout lunch; the food was thoroughly enjoyed by all for Mother?s Day!!Portions were great and there was a... wonderful selection of options to choose from. The staff was incredibly friendly and even offered us a drink on the house dueto the order taking slightly longer to prepare (as it was a busy holiday). It was a very thoughtful gesture. The best Italian Restaurant I?ve ever been. highly recommend. last week I went for dinner out there with my family and the food... was awesome I asked the chef to make me an special plate and was delicious also the service was Fantastic the waiter wasfriendly. my daughter and I dropped in for a quick lunch on Saturday afternoon. We both decided to order from the ?lunch special menu?... for $14.00 pp. This included 2 appetizers, 2 house salads & 2 entrées!! Everything was delicious. My daughter ordered thebruschetta & I ordered the stuffed mushrooms for appetizer. Delicious & fresh. for the entrée I ordered eggplant parmesana,which was some of the best I?ve ever tasted. I can?t remember what my daughter ordered, Lol, but everything was just terrific. Read more
My first time there. Came for lunch. Though the food was good, I gave 4 stars. The restaurant was very quiet with only 4-5... tables of customers. The service was very slow. We had to wait 5-10 minutes at times until we saw someone to get their attentionthat we needed something. Also, the aviance and decorations were sub-par. Read more
