Sunday morning not so busy. Bagel was over toasted, but still good for a quick breakfast.
You will never be treated more poorly and rudely than you will at Kettleman?s. The bagels are not worth the total lack of... respect for the customer. I?ve never seen a business as unorganized with handling orders before. The woman at the register isprobably one of the nastiest and most arrogant people I have met and should not be interacting with customers. I just bought my last bagel from here. The bagels at Kettleman?s are decent but the customer service is terrible. The tall guy... is fine but that woman that they insist on putting in the register is very nasty. Today she took our order, we paid and sheproceeded to have very other order made but ours. Mistakes happen. But after 15 minutes I should have received an apology and myfood. Not with her! She has the food made then slams is down on the counter like she was giving me something for free and notwhat I paid for! They can keep it. I?ve been coming to kettlemans for quite some time because there aren?t many places nearby to get breakfast sandwiches..Today I... ordered a pork roll, bacon, sausage egg and cheese on a sub roll. Not only was I charged an extra $2.50 for each meat, but I wasalso not given the bacon or sausage?for 2 sandwiches I paid over $22?After this experience I will probably no longer be gettingfood there, and I would never suggest this place to anyone in the future Read more
I?m giving them four stars, not five, because of their lack of consistency with their bagel quality. With that said, on its... worst day, it?s still one of the top bagels in the area. On its best day, in my vast and ridiculous experience of eating bagelsin New Jersey, it is at the least in the top three. There are only two other bagels that I?ve had in New Jersey that compare tothe quality of a Kettleman?s bagel when it?s on one of the good days there. O?bagel in Basking Ridge, and Sheepshead Baygels inHazlet New Jersey. Don?t let anyone else tell you differently. And if you?re like me and you?re willing to travel further toget a better bagel, and you?re in the vicinity of one of these places, they are the only places to go. The one thing I?d askfor kettlemen?s to think about, is why are the bagels so inconsistent from day-to-day? On its worst day you wouldn?t know it wasthe same bagel place as the best day. Read more

Great bagels and sandwiches. I definitely recommend ordering online especially on the weekends when it's busier than usual. I'm... giving 4 stars because it's a bit disorganized when it comes to ordering in person and can feel a little chaotic. This place istotally worth it if you order online. Read more
Decided to try this place & will never go back. They have no signs saying where to order so unless you know where to go the... employees LITERALLY don't pay you any attention. When I got there no one was in line then 2 people came in behind me & theemployee took both of them before me. After placing my order & standing behind the 2 people who were taken ahead of me to payfor my stuff. The employee turned around & continued with whatever busy work she was doing & avoided eye contact with me. Iasked another employee about the muffins that where on top of the case. That employee tells another employee who tells anotheremployee that 2 muffins where ordered. Didn't know it took 3 employees who were standing right there to get 2 muffins &literally toss them into the bag. I pay for 2 muffins & a basic breakfast sandwich on a bagel that comes out to about $14. I paywith a card & get a receipt back but they don't have me sign the other one ???? I'll be keeping an eye on my account. I trysome of a cranberry nut muffin on my way home & something didn't taste right with it. I had my friend try it & not only did itnot have any sugar in it, WAY to many nuts & it was MOLDY ???????????? I'm not even going to try the blueberry one. I go to eatthe breakfast sandwich & I couldn't even eat it, I fed a small piece of the meat & egg to my dog, who spit it back up momentslater. The bagel wasn't bad but I think if it didn't have the grease from the meat on it it may have tasted slightlybetter. Though I won't be going back to find out.
