Don't know what I'd do without Masala Bay. I eat an amazing, healthy, and affordable vegan dinner here once a week. I've never... had the same dish twice (I pick some base foods and ask for "chef's choice" for the rest, and it's always delicious), and cannever wait until my next visit! Plus the owner is super nice and friendly :) Read more

Place was practically empty and I see why. There wasn't anything visible to look at when you build your own bowl. The food was... ok the chick peas w spinach didn't have much flavor. I didn't see any spinach maybe you need a microscope. The sauce wasdelicious, spicy, and flavorful. The sauce get 5? all in all it's ok place w a reasonable price but I won't come here againunless I in area and I want the sauce. Read more

I visited just as the shop opened and found that the food prep area was clean and being stocked. I was quickly greeted and... informed that they were out of arugula and couscous. The greens that were out and available looked a little sad and wilted so Iskipped and opted for the grain and protein bowl with quinoa and paneer tikka. The grains and protein looked fresh and smelledgreat, but the portion felt lacking. Onto the spread, I chose the harissa hummus and the raita. The hummus has an unexpectedkick which is balanced great by the raita. For toppings, I opted for the sprouts which were fine and tomato cucumber salad whichtasted soggy and not fresh. I had the bowl dressed with some tamarind and mint chutneys. For my side, I had the garlic naan anda small mango lassi (with rose and cardamom). The naan was hot, fresh, and the best part of the meal. The lassi was your averagemango lassi, I wasn?t able to taste the rose or cardamom, but it was still yummy. I paid right under $20 for the whole meal, which I think is a little expensive for a casual lunch type place. I like the idea and execution of a Mediterranean/Indianplace, but was disappointed by some of individual items. I?d like to come back during a lunch/dinner rush to take advantage ofthe turnaround freshness of some of the toppings. -1 star for overall value for money, portion:price; wilted greens on serviceline and missing options -1 star for the subpar tomato and cucumber salad and mango lassi update 1/3/21: Went back for a secondtry and this was a much better experience. I think the best move is to visit post lunch hour as the food absolutely tasted a lotmore fresh and the portions were larger. Naan was phenomenal again. Up to 5 stars. Read more

Overall Food was good, just some minor inconveniences The food in this restaurant was good, and the ambiance was great, you... could sit outside or look at the bay from the seats. Just know that gratuity is included in your meal. The staff was a littleslow, and we asked for chopped onion at the table which is usually free but they charged us $2.50 for it. I understandeverything about the staff as they are short staffed right now. Also, the Butter Chicken was SWEET. They warned us and we gaveit a try, and it was very sweet. Other than that though, pretty good visit. Read more

BIG Noooo!! They just gave spoiled food, literally it is smelling rotten. Asked for brown basmati rice instead they have given... per boiled rice which is completely spoiled. Too sour the overall food, not sure if they make it fresh or just heat up the foodfrom fridge. I hope I don?t get hospitalized after having this. This was my first and last time ordering from this place. Nevercoming back. Read more
