This place is great. Drinks are top notch, Lee is an expert bartender, ask him to recommend something. Guinness on tap. And they... have a weekend $19 ribeye steak with shrimp special, usually $25. Very accommodating. Came in just as kitchen was closing, ordered a bunch of apps for our group of 10, and they even let us add a... burger at the last minute. Bartender was attentive and fastidious. Great stuff. Read more
I've been to this bar/restaurant a few times over the years, even before it was PJ Cavanaughs and its always been the same deal.... Mediocre food and incredibly slow service. When I stay at the Holiday Inn to which it is attached, I have to be feeling reallylazy to hit this lobby restaurant. Typically I'll jump in the car and drive to a better spot to eat. I certainly would neverseek this place out as a destination if I wasn't staying in a room 100 steps away. Pass on this place unless you're staying atthe Holiday Inn, and want a beer at a bar and don't want to leave the hotel. Read more
