Went here for a weekend buffet. Food was not very authentic and it was mostly Americanized Indian food with mild spices. The... price is 17.99 which is very competitive compared to other Indian buffets in the central new Jersey. Biryani was lacking in thebuffet, friendly staff and service was good. This place has really gone downhill in the last year. My family and I went on a weekday for the buffet and almost all the food... was empty when we got there. The staff never refilled any of the food once for the entire hour that we were there. The containerfor the naan was also empty. We asked the staff and owner multiple times for Naan and they only gave us 3/4th of a single naanamong 3 people. The sauce for the chicken Tikka Masala tasted weird, the onions for the tandoori chicken were overcooked, andpaneer tasted subpar. Excellent ethnic cuisine. Service was good and tasty Vegetarian and non-Veg dishes. It's NOT extremely drowned in lots of... spices. It's just right amount, but one has choice to order mild, medium, hot or spicy to your preference. Just as I rememberedfrom before. Been many yrs since I went there. It was quite and enjoyable family dinner. It seems like They did not have few items, and its May be due to been late Sunday... evening. The tomato soup seems like it was right out of canned food and warmed up in microwave. Even the Naan felt, as it wasout of the bag and warmed up in preheated oven... The Daal wasn't cooked properly as it was a bit water down. The paneer dishportion was a bit smaller than expected, But it was good in taste. Overall it was enjoyable meal. Read more

I ordered takeout and it was great! We got an order of vegetable samosas for appetizer. One order comes with 2 pieces and 2... dipping sauces. We also got chicken korma and paneer masala. All of our food was flavorful and recommend giving this restauranta try. Pooja is located in a strip mall behind the Dunkin Donuts and there is plenty of parking available. Read more
