If you like soup, salad, and sandwich, this is the place for you. Very good food, a hefty portion, and a good price. The... ambience lives up to the name. It feels like you are eating at a chuckwagon. The simple atmosphere was refreshing from acluttered world. The steak sandwich had a delicious smokey flavor. The chicken and bleu cheese on the salad was fresh and tasty.Be aware their hours are from 11 to 2:30. We almost missed it. I'm glad we didn't. I'm not from the area, but will make it apoint to go back sometime. Good place to take friends for lunch. No deserts, but I didn't care. I could have had another steaksandwich for desert. Read more
I've tried almost everything on this menu..DELICIOUS! Make sure to visit for lunch; no dinner service.. Friendly staff/ lil wait... time for food! An absolute must try place for lunch!! We just used the Chuck Wagon for our wedding and they went above and beyond our expectations! We got the roasted pig and prime... rib and the food was amazing! We also got the charcuterie table for our cocktail hour and it was truly unbelievable. They didsuch a great job! We had so many compliments on our food. Highly recommend! Read more
We used the Chuck Wagon to cater our daughter's wedding at The Hayloft and for the rehearsal dinner the night before. We cannot... say enough good things about Jeff and his staff!!!! The food was second to none - all of our guests complimented us many timeson the quality of the food! We had a pig roast for the rehearsal dinner and it was fabulous. I highly recommend eating here. The portions are very large and very delicious!! The service is great.The prices are reasonable.... This is one of the best restaurants in Somerset to eat at. Sandwiches were really good. Service was minimal but sufficient. Atmosphere was outdoor seating only, which we lucked out with... good weather, light/no wind, no flying bugs. Rear entrance was exactly as you's expect the rear entrance to a kitchen to be. But, we enjoyed our sandwiches. Read more
