In town for a wedding so it was our first time there. Waited 30 min for the waitress to greet us. Another hour to get our food,... which was cold, not to mention not that good. I?m willing to give most places a second chance but not this place. They were veryfriendly but not worth the wait and hassle especially after our bill was $70. Read more

Had an average experience. Family of 5 with 3 kids ages 10-13. Ordered ribeye, 2 burgers and 2 crab cake dinners. Stopped here... because it was about halfway between DC and Cleveland, and we didn't want Popeye's at the turnpike rest stop again (though thatwas pretty good.) In fairness, our stop was on pretty busy Sunday evening in the middle of dinner rush. I'd probably give itanother try at a less busy time. Easy on-and-off access from PA turnpike. Read more

Nice place with very good service. My meal (ribeye deckle) was excellent except for two things. The steak was a bit too salty,... and I believe blue cheese dressing should have at least some blue cheese crumbles in it without having to specifically orderthem. Read more

The atmosphere is warm and friendly. I can see why they are so busy here. No photos unfortunately but the food is well prepared... and reasonably priced. The hotel we were staying at were giving out 10% off coupons so ask at the hotel if they have that dealwhen there. The place is unusual in that the there is no front or back door to enter. All parking is in the back lot. From theparking lot in back walk to the right side to enter. Read more

My wife and I were in the area. We were looking for someplace to eat that wasn't a chain & we found it. If you are travelling... along the PA Turnpike Somerset exit or local, don't pass by this place! We started with the Spinach & Artichoke Hearts dip, Itwas excellent! I had the meatloaf dinner and it seemed to be homemade & my wife had the Chicken & Mushroom Alfredo. Both mealswere delicious. Our salads were fresh, cold & crunchy. My wife gave them a stamp of approval as she is like a picky rabbit withsalads! Our server Allison was nice. We look forward to trying other menu options when passing thru this area again. Read more

My burger was delish.... great taste and perfectly cooked. Wife had the meatloaf.. Ok but not spectacular to her. Of course,... there are lots of family recipes out there. Our waitress was wonderful. Attentive and funny. Read more

While visiting the area we were looking for somewhere to grab some dinner, wanted to go somewhere local not just a chain place... and spotted this place and decided to go. I'm glad we did, it was rather busy we got seated right away and in minutes our servercame out to get our drinks, the staff seemed very attentive and was very happy with the service. We waited about 25 minutes forfood but it was well worth the wait, we got beef stroganoff and a double cheeseburger and the beef was cooked perfectly andeverything was hot and very good. Only complaint would be the stroganoff was a little salty and it was a little loud cause theywere buzy but still cozy. Our server Linda did a fantastic job. Very happy we stopped in ???? Read more

Everywhere is short-staffed but we've received far better service at other places. And when the management sets up a 6-ft... folding table with chairs he got from his house(?) to accommodate more paying bodies, that shows a lack of consideration forcustomers and the over-worked staff. We didn't get any refills on our drinks (unsweet tea, lemonade) and the alcohol was veryweak. The food isn't anything to write home about. The steak was too salty, but they didn't mess up on the burgers. It was aFriday night, so a half hour wait is to be expected. However, an hour and a half after being sat to getting out (with no drinkrefills) was not. My impression is this is just a spot for the local regulars to come for familiarity, but not much else.
