Just finished grabbing an app and a couple beers at the bar. The salsa and chips were delicious and service was fast. However it... quickly went downhill. We finished almost all the chips and a beer before we were finally asked if we wanted to order food. Weordered guacamole and another beer. The guac tasted ok but was almost frozen, did not receive any additional chips and whileeating not one but two yellow/orange cockroaches run across the bar right in front of me. As we were leaving my boyfriend got asliver from a piece of glass in his finger and started bleeding. Needless to say we will never be returning to this place. Read more
Went to Las Palmas for the first time yesterday. We had a fantastic time! Server clearly knew what he was doing and was... comfortable with the menu, wait times were short, and the food was so good! I got the enchiladas tapatias and couldn?t believe Iwas able to finish the whole plate!! We ended up getting dessert as well(fried cheesecake and churros), both were delicious! So...popular place. Lots of Dover kids. Heard descriptions like "it's da bomb!" and "huge burritos, man"...but considering the... pre- and post-adolescent sources, decided to reserve judgement until a couple of visits were had. This picture was of"Bruschetta", a selection of deep-fried shrimp wrapped in bacon on top of grilled veggies. Accompanying it was something IALWAYS order at a Mexican restaurant - "chili torreado"(grilled chilies). Was the food good? Was it authentic? Would I orderthat again? Answers:. Meh!, Who knows, and probably not. But...I will come back and try something of more indigenous origin. Read more

Went here for the first time today. The food was SO good. The house margarita is delicious and the fish tacos were perfect. The... staff is kind and quiet but attentive. The bathrooms are spotless. Read more
While I have eaten here before, and really enjoyed my food, tonight was mediocre. We ordered buffalo wings as an appetizer. They... tasted like they were frozen then microwaved. They were soft and tasteless and arrived cold. The chips and salsa of course wasdelicious. We also got fajitas that would have been good, but were also cold when they got to our table. I would still eat hereagain because everywhere has extending circumstances that can cause a bad night. Especially with COVID and staffing shortages Ialso take into account that all businesses are having a tough time right now. So I don't feel one bad night defines a business.Perhaps the next visit will be extraordinary. Read more
Being from Los Angeles, I really miss Mexican food. Las Palmas fills in that longing extremely well. The salsa and guacamole are... fantastic. The Californian and Tio Ricardo burritos are excellent. I love the music and the set up of the place. My wife and Iare here once a week on date night. Just like my mom's cooking, the food is insatiable! Read more
