Came in here a few weeks back. Well I ordered from this location, not knowing that it had basically closed and had been absorbed... by its sister Machu Pichu down the street. I always felt it weird they were so close but MC was certainly more causal. I endedup calling ahead and walking to MC before realizing they had combined. I used to come here often when I lived in Porterpre-Covid. Best sandwich in Union in my opinion but that has certainly changed. By far the biggest disappointment is moving froma French bread type roll to a bulky sandwich roll. Completely changes the taste. Not the same amount of rotisserie chicken as itused to be and most of it was dry. It?s a shame as I used to really dig this spot. The fries were rather hard too but they didprovide the same dressing condiment as before. I?ll likely avoid this in the future. Please change back the bread you use! Read more

Recently got the mixed ceviche, lomo saltado, tamal, and the chicken dinner for delivery. While they weren?t the most affordable... Peruvian food option in the area, they certainly had some great dishes worth trying. The mixed ceviche and lomo saltado were ourfavorites, and I especially liked the refreshing aftertaste of the ceviche. Tamal was also interesting, but a bit too heavy tobe an appetizer. The roasted chicken was just okay, but fortunately, the sauces made them miles better. We also wanted to trythe Inca kola and their specialty corn drink, but they were unfortunately stolen by our Grubhub driver. Nevertheless, it was anenjoyable dinner overall. Read more

This place is amazing! Love Peruvian barbecue and never thought I?d love it so much. Definitely need to get the mixed organ... dish and the chicken dish. It was to die for and pretty good price. It is a bit slow in terms of waiting for the foodespecially when there are a lot of people waiting but the food is very much worth the wait! Read more

Oh man. So good. Just so good. Enough has been said about the chicken (get it). I would say that you should get it with rice... because the plain rice is actually well seasoned and delicious. Also try the chicha morada! Read more

Highly recommended by a friend and always reluctant to go because it was such a hassle to find parking at Union Square. Finally... had the opportunity to go and found a good parking spot. Highly recommend to go by public transportation or Lyft to saveyourself some trouble. I ordered the half Peruvian Roasted Chicken that includes 1/4 dark and 1/4 white, I personally like darkmeat more, depends on personal taste. The roasted chicken was very rich in flavor, juicy and not heavy. The plantain wasdelicious with the sauces (spicy and non-spicy) the server gave us. The staff was very friendly and from Honduras. The bestpart, it was very affordable, about $10/person for a full meal. . . ????Must order???? - fried yucca - plantain - Peruviantoasted chicken . . ????Score: ????Environment: 3.5?? ????Services: 5?? ????Taste: 4.5?? ???? The white chicken and large salad were a solid meal, and in total only about 12 bucks. The service was fast. The Peruvian salad... dressings without cream were delicious and strongly flavored, out of which the green was pretty spicy. The avocado came with thesalad, and we didn't need to order extra. Love coming here! I was recommended this restaurant a few years ago and haven't stopped coming. I usually order a whole charcoal... chicken for about $22. It's like a combo meal and includes white rice and salad. I also order fried sweet plantain, fried casava(yuca) and fries for my girls. All for about $35. They also have 2 or 3 Peruvian beers and wines as well as different naturaljuices and shakes. Dessert is also good with creamy flan! The only con I can think of are the small tables that can barely fitall the plates but other than that, I highly recommend! MUST TRY THE GREEN SAUCE!!! LOVE IT!!!! Read more
