Really nice spot, lite fare menu with fair prices, Good selection of craft beers, Had the local October Fest from the tap. Good... Temps no froth.. Had the shrimp tacos, was good, but small servings for the hearty appetite.. would definitely recommend for aquiet date night, low light ambient sets a good mood. Good service, clean environment. Hubs and I have past this place literally 100 times. We have always wanted to try buy never have....until last night. What the... heck were we waiting for! We dined downstairs and we very impressed. The white sangria? The bomb!!! The sweet wings?? Omg!!Everything we got was amazing. Will definitely be back. Read more
I can't believe how good the reviews are or that they have the audacity to call it a "Mediterranean tapas" restaurant.... Everything was just frozen and fried poorly -- even the "pizza" was like a greasy crepe cooked on a flat top grill with shreddedcheese. The food was basically just really gross bar food. I don't know where other customers were getting their pictures from,but I highly recommend going just about anywhere else. Edit to respond to owner: we did have the mussels and clams, which tobe fair, did seem like they were cooked live, albeit not particularly well. But we also had wings and shrimp, and there is noway you can convince me the shrimp weren't frozen. If the wings were actually fresh (I'm still skeptical of this), then theywere cooked way too long, just like all of the seafood and the fries that came with the mussels. We didn't complain at the timebecause we were very hungry and frankly didn't think there was anything better that could've come out of the kitchen, so we justate it and paid. If it was one thing that was bad, i might have complained, but since it was everything, I'm not going to wastemy time waiting for more food i don't like. The personal pizza came about 15 minutes or so after everything else, and we had oneslice each and left the rest. When the waitress asked if we wanted a box, I said verbatim, "no, it was gross," and she just saidOK and took the rest away. As for not being able to edit the description ("Intimate tapas bar featuring Mediterranean smallplates"), Google customer service can help you figure that out, but if you havent tried to fix it for 10 years, I doubt you'lldo it now. Went one night without a reservation. The seats at the bar were filled but only two regular tables had people at them. The high... tops at the bar were empty and the 4 little couches were occupied by one person. The guy sitting there said the 3 other seatswere taken. The place is small and were told all tables were booked for the night, including the high tops. So we ordered somecocktails and stood in the corner at the bar for a bit. The female bartender with dark hair (she’s a waitress too) was so rudeand stiff! She seemed annoyed that we were standing there, ordering drinks. She went light on our cocktails only filling ourglasses about 2/3 or the way and felt the need to keep reminding us that we couldn’t sit any anywhere because all tables werealready reserved. We were told we could sit outside but seating there is for sipping only, no food or waitstaff. While we stoodfor 30+ minutes waiting for a bar seat to open, NO ONE sat at the bar tables…or the open dining tables…or the 3 open couchseats. We were looking to hang a bit, have drinks, small plates but left because this bartender kept staring us down which madeus uncomfortable. Her demeanor was weird, off. It felt as if we were inconveniencing her and invading the space. I recognizenow reservations are key if you want to be treated properly here. So I would make one should I decide to give them a try again.However, if this place prefers to lose business, keep hiring unfriendly, awkward staff, allow tables to stay unoccupied andtreating your patrons poorly like we were. Really solid food. The burger was good and juicy. Bar has a great selection; duck fries were good. The mach and cheese could use... more flavor and a cheese with a stronger flavor because all the flavor came from the seasoning on top. So unless you mix itwell, it's kind of flat. The asparagus also could have used some seasoning or salt. It's still worth going to and getting somefood and a drink from. Read more
