Always a good experience: creative menu and drinks, friendly staff, great atmosphere to relax. When I have guests from out of... town this is one of my go-to’s. Places like this make Somerville unique (and delicious). The Bang dumplings are little flavorbombs and they make the best lobster rolls. On my last visit my friend and I shared a charcuterie board that was thoughtfullyfilled with a variety of meats, cheeses, and sweet and savory accompaniments. Read more
A nice restaurant on Main Street. A good place to meet up for a drink with friends or a cozy dine in. The appertifs and entrees... are really nice. I am glad that they kept their menu to a page. Service is really good and friendly. If you aren’t into winesthey have some great cocktails. Read more
I only ate here once when they had crabfest, which was okay. But let me tell you, I absolutely love the bartenders and drinks... here. I just tell them what kind of flavor I am craving and they make it. I have never been disappointed by the drinks. They arealso very attentive and I love the vibe. It is the one semi upscale, lounge/bar type feel in the area. Super cute for date nightand you can actually hear the person next to you. I love it. Read more
Overall a pleasant experience. Service was excellent and the place was super busy so you do have a time constraint (if you are... part of a chatty group :)) on how long you can spend there. We spent 3 hours there on a Thursday evening and had to leave dueto the next reservation. Appetizers were excellent. We tried all the dumplings and the octopus. All excellent. The brancinofor the main course was excellent. Wanted to try the popular duck L'orange but it was a bit chewy for my taste and under done(hence the 4 star). I had asked for medium well. It could just be me. Loved the blueberry tart for dessert...lightly sweetand delicious. Parking is street side and we easily found some right in front of the restaurant for a 530pm dinner on aThursday. Read more
Incredible atmosphere, unique and delicious cocktails and food that’s to die for! Whether going for a drink, or a date night... for dinner, Verve always delivers. They just recently reopened their 1933 room which is a small bar upstairs to keep the nightgoing after an amazing meal! Read more
Verve is my favorite bar in the area. The bartenders are mixologist masters, the atmosphere is always welcoming, and the menu... has a delightful and unique selection of exactly what you are looking for when you just realized you are starving. Read more

Nice little restaurant and bar. The service on Halloween eve was absolutely fantastic and the place was lively. Food was very... good, albeit the menu is short (but very, very good). My one issue with the atmosphere was that the place was a tad too dark, asis common with fine dining places nowadays - but that is very subjective. Finally the fig tart was to die for!
