This is ?the Bakery? in town, right at the plaza. It?s the place to ?see and be seen,? so to speak. Everyone stops here for... their morning coffee or favorite pastries. Service is excellent, friendly and there?s a variety of coffee options, latte, cappuccino, etc. Best to arrive early to get the best pastries for the day. Yes, items can be pricey. But the bakery is also acafe that tourists like as much as locals. Sitting outside is one of the best experiences of being in Sonoma, especially on asunny day. Read more

True authentic coffee preparations. Excellent pastries and bread. They were nice enough to let me try some focaccia off the menu... for sandwiches and it was perfect. Read more

Pastries always bomb, been living in Sonoma ever since I was born so this was my pastry to go spot.I went to get a cappuccino... today and this thing wasn?t even filled up all the way. Looks delicious when you look at it but it?s so flavorless and blandwhen you try it. Price for sizing is ridiculous. Truly disappointed Read more

My husband and I stopped here to grab a snack before heading to a winery on a Friday morning. The menu was pretty large and had... a lot of pastries as well as drink options. I got some tea and we shared a huge cinnamon roll. The tea was reasonably priced andthe pastey was a bit on the higher side, but still a nice visit and good place to sit outside. Read more

Basque Boulangerie Café has an indoor cafe that sells a selection of baked goods, cafe items, and drinks. My madame sandwich... was really quite good. The cheese on it was slightly sharp, but mostly subtle and very melty. I thought it was a great sandwich. The croissant wasn?t that great. It tasted like a grocery store croissant, so I don?t know if they actually make them in house. Read more

The 2 stars are for the nice staff, but the food didn't deserve any. It's not bad but just not good and irrelevant, very plain.... I got to say that we're french basque ourselves so our standards are probably higher so we'll definitely won't stop again! Read more
