Well let's say my girl and I frequent Mary's and we have our "usuals". So this was our first time at the Sonoma square location... and as usual we ordered our regulars she ordered the protein plate with a side salad thousand on the side and a diet soda, Sheloves Mary's salad! I ordered water with lemon and a pesto tortellini and a caesar salad no croutons. Like I said, we order thisoften and we both agree this was the best we ever have eaten. Idk why but we both agreed it was the best we have ever had!Perfect. Unfortunately our waitress was not having the best of days we gathered as she was not in the best of moods. Mary's Pizza Shack is a great place for awesome pizza and homemade pasta and ravioli! Their customer service is excellent and... the atmosphere is very relaxed and Mary was such an amazing host who showed me how to put a pizza box together let me and mywife compete against one another to see who could make the most! I hate to say, but we had a generally disappointing experience here. The service was great, which earned a couple points, along... with my meat patty which was good, but the salad my wife ordered as a meal was ultra basic and probably cost $2.50 iningredients. An iceberg lettuce salad with some canned mixed beans, a slice of tomato and a couple slices of salami, isn’treally impressive. It was a lot of food, you won’t walk away hungry, just not necessarily satisfied. I hear the pizza isbetter. Stick with that if you’re going to order here. Read more
Excellent pizza and great service with outdoor seating right on the community square. We got the thin crust vegetable pizza and... the house salad with housemade Italian dressing. The pizza tasted very fresh with a nice crisp in the crust. We shared the saladwhich worked well as a starter for us and we liked the house Italian dressing. Overall, a nice casual meal on the square for asreasonable a price as you're likely to find in town. We would definitely return. Read more
A staple in Sonoma. I’ve had the pizza a few times and always leave desiring a bit more. They could be a bit more generous... with the toppings (prices for a two topping large are right around $27-30) and there just doesn’t seem to be much seasoning.Crust is actually ok. The pasta needs salt for sure but...they don’t care salt. A bit odd. Pro move is to grab a few pizzasTogo and sit in the square. Read more
