Had a nice dinner here with family. The food was good, love the steamer clams and calamari. Lamb chops was well cooked as well.... Only give 4 stars because the waiter was not on top of our orders, and keep forgetting stuff… it was a busy Saturday daynight, but the service can be better. Read more
Great atmosphere, great art, great service, and SO much potential with the food. TASTE before you plate! Risotto for both dishes... needed salt and more acid for the risotto with lamb shank. This might be a community thing since salt and pepper are already onthe table. I find that most restaurants with fine dining chefs ONLY provide these when asked since it changes the flavor of thedish. Lamb was nice and tender and the mushrooms and prawns were perfectly cooked. Lack of seasoning can make these seem bland. Read more
Attentive, friendly, and timely service. Our server was just the kind of professional you can appreciate.The salmon on the... salmon salad was perfect. Just the right portion for lunch and well seasoned. Since we're easing back into the dining scene,this was one of the good experiences we're looking for. Great job! Read more
We went here for lunch before heading up to Healdsburg for a scheduled tasting. We chose to stop in Sonoma because the traffic... from the East Bay on the 101 near Healdsburg was a mess. So after searching online we decided to try this place. The outdoorspace was beautiful and very welcoming. Our server was very friendly and attentive. My husband ordered the pear salad. It wasfine. I ordered the Caesar with chicken. While the chicken was flavorful, it was really dry. And the presentation was extremelypoor. Chicken pieces just scattered over the plate. Seriously?! Especially when you’re paying $21.00! I know it’s Sonoma sosadly everything is way over the top expensive, but at least put some effort into the presentation and cookery. Overall, with somany other good restaurants around, we likely won’t return. Sorry. Read more
We chose to sit on the patio, which is covered, and very nice - it was probably a little too hot for us to have made that stupid... decision, but despite that, we had a lovely time. The cocktails are delightful, our group had the risotto (so good!) linguineand clams (delicious!), and the gnocchi (lovely!). We tried the tiramisu and it was very well done. This place is delicious! The staff were super friendly and the atmosphere is cute. I came for brunch, but ended up getting the... Saffron Pappardelle. Saffron is one of my favorite spices and this dish did not disappoint. The infused saffron noodles wereabsolutely amazing and the sauce was so good I could have drank it. I am so sad I am just now finding this place because I cometo Sonoma very often. I will for sure be back and recommend this place to anyone who comes to the area! Read more
Had a really enjoyable dinner here. Got the saffron pappardelle with tiger prawns, and the fried calamari as a starter, both... delicious. Fantastic chocolate torte for dessert. Plenty of outdoor tables in a lovely patio area. Service was super-friendlyand attentive. Right off the main plaza, across the street from the Sonoma Bungalows, with lots of parking. The place was nice. The food was bland. The drinks were downright horrible. The staff were fantastic. I had a 2 ingredient drink... that I almost sent back. Would I go back? Not sure. In balance the food was so so and the cost was high -so, no not likely. Read more
