Arrived at 1130am wanted to do some work (write), was a beautiful day out and 6 tables was available on the outside of the... patio. Was seated outside and when the waiter came I ordered a glass of wine and was told I could not sit on the patio unless Iordered food. For this service I will give it 0 ?? I left and went to Cafe ROCHE where I was welcome, immediately given thewine menu, Wi-Fi, and was offered a charger and did not even ask for this. If you have the opportunity, do yourself a favor and make sure to visit this amazing establishment! My husband and I were... visiting Sonoma from Maryland for vacation and we just happened to wander in this restaurant late one evening to grab a drinkand some light fare at the bar. The owner, Martin, was phenomenal! He immediately made us feel at home, made the best lemondrops, and the charcuterie board was delicious. We were so impressed that we ended up going back 3 more times for dinner duringthe rest of our stay! Every single time the food was spectacular and the owner and waitstaff were all so friendly and attentive!When we make it back to Sonoma (hopefully soon) this will be our first stop! Popped in here for dinner after the place we originally planned to go to was actually closed. Glad we did, because it was a... really nice dinner. I had the special of the day, fish and chips, with super tender halibut and homemade tartar sauce. Wifehad the risotto, which was delicious and not overly rich or creamy. Daughter has the rigatoni bolognese, with a nice meatysauce. Service was excellent, with a nice outdoor seating area. Read more
