I m up and down the state of California as my job has me all over the place, I was in town of Sonora, came across this small mom... and pop joint, just like the beginning. As I walked in, I was greeted/acknowledged immediately by the host and waitress andseated. The service was great, prices not bad at all. What I loved was the great attitude and how they followed up with yourefilled my coffee and asked if anything else. They were on it. That positive attitude just love it. Great place forbreakfast. Trust me I visit many restaurants since I?m always on the road and this is I e of them gems. Not sure on lunch butnext time in town definitely swing by this place. Read more
We had breakfast here this morning. I?ll start with this, the service was outstanding. Our server was a super friendly guy, on... top of things and accommodating. The food was?ok. My meal came with what looked like a clump of hair mixed into the potato?s.They took it back, recooked the entire meal and took the meal off of our bill. When I got the food, it was good, typical greasyspoon fare. More or less what we expected. not that good. waffle was equivalent to one of those hotel continental breakfast ones. potatoes tasted frozen. eggs overdone.... not worth 20 dollars a person. also long wait to get in. would not return. Read more
I?ve eaten at this restaurant a few times for lunch and a few of the other My Garden Cafés and the food is always good. My new... favorite is the vegetable sandwich with turkey added and a side salad with honey mustard dressing. The other dish is the tacosalad. Read more
Good little spot to have home cooked meal. I usually have breakfast here.They have great specials btw. Decided to try burger n... fries. Wasnt disappointed! Burger was fresh! Handpressed, toasted bun, and fresh handsliced fixings. Fries were crispy, andgenerously portioned! The staff is super freindly. Great b.o.h. cooks.! I would give this place 10 stars if I could. breakfast was absolutely delicious and service was great!!! It?s nothing like the... average egg and bacon. Their chef did a great job making the meal tasty and not bland. Our server Johnathon was friendly andprovided excellent service. I asked for my hash browns to be certain way and he made sure they were. He also suggested the homemade jam which was so delicious that we bought couple of jars to take home and we are enjoying them at home. We would certainlycome back anytime we?re in town. My Garden Cafe is a great restaurant for breakfast. Quick and friendly service. Enjoyed their French toast and their waffles... this week while visiting the area. Also enjoyed the tasty and generous ham slice option. Good coffee too. They are only open forbreakfast and lunch. Read more
