employees don't pull masks up past their noses, what's the point in only covering part of your face. not very safe.
The last 3 times I've gone in they are out of buns, out of meatballs, always out of everything. Young staff are rude about it... and just don't give a darn. Will not support this business going forward. The food is great but the owner is down right nasty. Took my young kids in to buy... them lunch for school. They were so excited, but owner quickly deflated their excitement by making miserable comments. He eventold me he was soooo grateful he didn?t have girls for children. Best late night fast food in Sooke. These guys are fantastic, they make me happy every time I order. I love when I ask for... lots of pickles and they actually give me LOTS of pickles. Plus I never feel judged for my condiment addiction lol when I askfor 5 different sauces they happily oblige. Read more
I went in and the sandwich was fine but I have to say the Conduct was extremely unprofessional and made me very uncomfortable.... There was a man and a girl working and unprovoked by the customer in front of me the man said "look at (this employee, a younggirl) you know why shes so attractive? Because her mother is too!" I can't speak for how the young lady felt about this but Ido know that she was looking down and away and did not verbally or physically respond to this comment. The fact is you shouldnever ever comment on your staff's attractiveness to them or to a customer or around them or at all not because of their parentsnot because of who they are not for any reason whatsoever. Nice staff and good food but this is the second time I've been to this subway in the past month (during covid) and both times... there have been employees making subs without a mask on. I get there aren't a lot of cases reported (note that they just haven'tbeen reported) on the island but this is still a pandemic and it's better to be too safe than not safe enough.
