A solid 3.5! It?s a bit of a windy drive (about 20 mins from Sooke) to get to this food truck serving up juicy burgers. The... burgers were good (but unfortunately not on my top list) and service was friendly. My husband and I both had the royale withcheese + bacon. We both thought the burgers needed a bit more seasoning, same goes for the potato salad and coleslaw. We werealso hoping that the burgers came with some sort of signature sauce to make it a bit more unique. The bacon strips were amazingthough. Service was incredibly friendly and they get their fair share of customers! Unfortunately, because it?s a bit out ofthe way and the burgers were lacking in flavour, we wouldn?t make the venture out again. Read more
The reviews say it all. If you?re hiking East Sooke, this food truck has is an essential stop to rest and recharge. The Big... Kahuna is THE best burger on the South Island. You?re paying for quality here so go all in and wash it down with an ice cold RedStripe (they?re licensed). The crew is super friendly and seem to take special care with every order. Oh-there?s also a funkyseating area behind the truck too that?s easy to miss. For dessert, walk over to the East Sooke Store for candied pecans(Sasquatch Snacks). Read more
10/10 would definitely recommend! We've driven from Toronto all the way to East Sooke and had our fair share of burgers along... the way but hands down this one is the best!!! We had The Cheeseburger Royale but they have a veggie option as well. They alsohave ice cream and a good selection of craft beer... what are you waiting for?! ???? Read more
Definitely one of the top 5 burgers I?ve ever had. The Kahuna with bacon is incredible. They put a little hot sauce on top which... finished it off perfectly. Slaw and potato salad were also on point ???? Can?t believe I?ve never been to this spot.Definitely coming back! Read more
Veggie burger with the grilled pineapple and BBQ sauce was next level! The food is consistently amazing. And I can't say enough... about the potatoe salad - hands down best I have had. I thought I would miss having fries but once I had that salad, didn't giveit another thought. :-)The service is also always so friendly and the vibe is fun. A local gem offering a unique food truck experience serving up some mouth watering burgers. I?m not a big potato salad or... coleslaw kind of person but they have won me over with these tasty sides. The Royal is fantastic on its own and even better withthe add-on of bacon. Read more
