We went to West Coast Grill for my grandpa's 87th birthday on August 27th. I don't remember our server's name... but she was... super nice, very attentive and great with the kids! We told her it was his birthday and she had the kitchen write happy birthdayon his dessert plate and she put sparklers in his dessert and she sang happy birthday with us. His health is failing and he's inearly stages of dementia so we don't know how much time we have. We really appreciate how she helped to make his birthdayspecial, thank you! Loved the view from the outside tables and had the best chowder we?ve had in a while in addition to a yummy tomato bisque and... calamari. It was fun to walk on the dock afterward and watch all the seals. Read more

For the area the food is a decent quality and with good variety. They did not have an expresso machine for an after lunch... expresso. We did catch happy hour which was 3-6pm so caught some cheaper drinks. The portion size was good for the mains. Read more
My husband & I had dinner at the West Coast Grill as we where staying at The Prestige and received $20 off our meal.... Reservations are a must as the restaurant is very busy. We began with the bucket of shrimp they tasted amazing, the onlynegative is it would have been nice to have something to wipe our hands with afterwards. For our main meal we each had a salad Ihad the Moa bowl which was very substantial & tasted amazing. Thank you to our waitress for a lovely evening. Read more
One of the best restaurants in Sooke, located inside the Oceanfront Resort. The food and service were amazing. Went here for... brunch and dinner and both times I was impressed with the quality of the food. Flavours were also on point. Best try to get aseat by a window or on the patio so you can enjoy the beautiful views this place has to offer while enjoying the amazing foodthis place also offers. Read more
Our dinner at West Coast Grill was very nice. We had a lovely view on the patio and saw some harbour seals swimming around... below. Our food was good. The salmon and the clam chowder are delicious! The fish was good, crispy and not soggy. The waiterwas very nice and friendly. Read more
