I would go with a six star review if possible! This is the best place for dinner in the Sooke area! We stopped in with a large... party and they sat us out on the patio area, and they gave us the toddler with us chalk to play with. The food here is amazing,as is the service. This place is an absolute gem! We didn?t have reservations but they were able to fit us in on the gorgeous patio. Our party... shared about 5 dishes and 3 desserts between us and we were delighted by everything. The drinks were incredible and the servicewas fantastic. Read more
We made reservations (highly recommend this!) for a busy long weekend evening and were seated immediately when we arrived. We... had a lovely seat inside the quiet room with 3 tables and were seated right by the window with a beautiful ocean view. Weordered the beef tartare, fire roasted pork loin, and prosciutto mushroom pappardelle. Everything was flavourful and deliciouswith interesting pairings. We were slightly disappointed with the portion of the beef tartare, especially since a friend of oursrecently visited and she posted a photo of a larger portion for that dish! We wish the portions could have been moreconsistent. Service was a bit slow (they were having some issues with their card machine) but incredibly warm and friendly. Read more
Great atmosphere, view is amazing. We had pizza, pasta, dessert, and drinks. The food is amazing. We had a bit of an issue with... one of our food, and they recognized it and had it replaced without any issues. We knew about this place for a while, andfinally tried it and it was definitely worthwhile, we are coming back soon! Read more
This place was packed for the long weekend so I'd make sure you have a reservation! The food and service were both impeccable! I... didn't have a reservation but was looking for a single seat and they were nice enough to serve me by the bar next to the woodfire oven. I had the duck egg pappardelle with the ragu and meatballs and it was delicious and so full flavored. I could tasteall the prosciutto and padano and it was everything when combined in a single bite! Let me just start with, this place is exceptional. The food was the best food I ate in a very long time. Amazing, perfectly... balanced flavours. We also got a party box for New Years eve and we can't wait to try it ????. Thanks for the great evening andthe delicious food! One of the more compelling reasons I would come back and revisit Sooke. Their dishes are perfection! Everything on their menu is... fresh and locally sourced (herbs and greens from their garden, too), top that with an excellent and warm team of frontline andkitchen staff who made everyone feel at home, plus this place has a breathtaking view of the water.
