We were looking for a nice warm atmosphere, small restaurant to eat something nice and authentic. But this was a wrong choice.... Unusual form of service, our waitress performing was unprofessional. Food was served in a wrong order, salad and appetizers camethe last. She left us unattended, without chopsticks, without any ability to ask her for anything... She brings the plate andimmediately turns around and leaves. It was very uncomfortable, we had to wait for her next appearance to ask her anything.Table-serving look at the picture.. not appetizing, only one plate with the fork laying on the wrinkled napkin. Hot tea isunknown origin, no tea bags, it was sweet colored hot water with ginger taste. The food is nuh.. Whole eating experience feltsuspiciously of food that was served. Barely touched. A place to never return to. Read more

Star of Siam is the best Thai restaurant we have been to in Santa Cruz County. The menu has a vast selection of authentic Thai... dishes. The staff are kind and attentive, and the prices are quite reasonable. You'll enjoy the food and experience there. Read more

Really confused by the positive reviews unless they were written by staff or friends. The restaurant is extremely dated and... dark. It?s uninviting and looks like it opened 45 years ago. There is one person working and she?s doing everything socustomers have to wait including takeout customers. I ordered my food online for takeout and received a confirmation via emailthat I ordered but nothing was received when my food was ready. It?s incredibly difficult to pull into the parking lot whenother cars are on the road ? especially if you?re trying to make a left into the lot. I had to drive all the way three times andgo all over to be able to pull in. It took awhile for the one staff member to acknowledge me though I could see my to-go bag onthe table. No napkins, no utensils, no sauce packets so make sure you?re getting your food to go home and eat. The FOOD: TheDrunken noodles were a one star at best. No flavor, no sauce, no taste and definitely not spicy. The spring rolls were okay butnot great. Wasn?t a fan of the peanut sauce. The garlic eggplant should?ve come with rice but didn?t. The worst part is howexpensive it all was. Definitely not worth it. Read more
