Great little place to stop in on a weekend. They do a great scrambled egg sandwich. I appreciate the local artwork... feature/rotation. Staff is always pleasant. I once tipped $5 on a bagel sandwich and the reaction of the guy who took my orderstill makes me smile. Read more

Not impressed by this location. The bagel was cold. The moxie was prepared incorrectly with too much cream cheese and whole... olives (should be chopped). The interior of the store looks like they haven't recovered from they pandemic. Everything needs arefresh and employees need menu prep training. Read more

Outta plain bagels, bagels with spread were messy, we waited 20 mins for 4 bagels and they were cold by the time we got them. ... There were 5 people behind the counter, and service was still slow. Read more

First time there as I am from out of town. Placed an order then asked for extra bagels to take home. Realized there was some... confusion as I received a bag of pre packaged gluten free bagels. I called the next day and they were so kind. They explainedwhat probably happened and then issued me a credit for a half dozen fresh bagels next time I came in. The young man on the phonewas so nice and patient with me and happy to help. I will definitely return!! Read more

The Bagelry in Soquel, well, any Bagelry, really. They have multiple locations, and some of their bagels are also carried in... select coffee shops around town. I know Java Junction is one of them. Other Bagelry locations are in downtown Santa Cruz and inthe Seabright area in midtown. They have lots to choose from. They make their own flavored cream cheeses. My favorite bagel isa toasted garlic bagel with half cheese Louise and half tomato herb. They also make some delicious soups and bagel sandwiches,or you can build your own. They have lots of add-ons available to make pretty much whatever kind of bagel your heartdesires. This is a true Santa Cruz staple. They have been around as long as I have been getting bagels. I love The Bagelry! Good bagels and GREAT spreads! Personal favorites are Fandango, Pink Flamingo, and guacamole, but there is a... wide variety available and I've never had one I didn't like. Give them a shot if you're in the Santa Cruz area! Read more
