Cold reception. Manager at the reception is like he is the customer, rude, cold and limit arogance answers. Come in at 2:30pm to... check in and room not ready , said to come back in 1h and after 1h not ready yet. And then gave me a room where you can hear theguest next room. Rooms are old, carpet smell a bit and cleanless not top. When asking a late check-out at 1pm i was asked to pay30$. I am traveling every month for years and never asked to pay for late check-out. Only hotel in the city so you understandwhy they act like that. Restaurent refuses you if you dont reserve. But just go outside at 50m walk a great marina restaurent:le Blevedere. Far overpriced for the quality of accommodations. The rooms are dingy and dated, and toilet amenities are motel-quality.... Housekeeping did not clean the room every other day, despite leaving a card on the door (there is a note saying that they don'tclean rooms except upon request!) The view from the hotel is OK. As other reviews note, a parking lot breaks your view to theSt. Lawrence River. The grounds and lobby are beautiful, but once you get to your room, everything screams "cheap motel". Itmay be worth $150 at the upper end, but I paid $250 which I found very poor value, and far below my expectations. Read more

Of all of the places we have travelled to in QC this was one of my favorite. We took a waterfront view and it did not... disappoint. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.My suggestion is skip the restaurant in the hotel and gonext door to the Belvédère.Spend the money and go to the spa, the massages and the spa itself are incredible. You can yell that the owner is trying to spruce this place up, it is still very tired and dated. The bathrooms are reasonable,... the actual sleeping areas are quite sub par. Staff seems very friendly, that is nice. Prices at the restaurant are quite highfor the quality of food offered. Basically this place thinks that it is in a different category than it actually is. I booked a special package with the staff at the hotel and made reservation for my spa visits. However when I arrive they can?t... seem to find my name nor my reservation so I ended up having to wait for them to confirm at the spa receptionist both time. It?sa bit frustrating. Other than that, the thermal experience was good, even though it was a bit smaller than I expected, it?senough when there are not a lot of guests. The breakfast was tasty too. Read more

I am not sure about the people who has left good reviews if they have ever been to a spa/hotel before! The room is very below... average! I paid extra to get the king size room and i wish i didn't, the bed is very uncomfortable has noises not relaxing atall. We went to have a special night with my husband but the vibe of this hotel is really not good. Not to mention the key roomgets deactivated everytime we leave the room and we had to go to the reception 3 times to reactivate it. They advertise it as ariver view but there's a parking lot before the river we didn't enjoy the view at all. The spa is really not special ???? therelaxing room has a broken foyer and chairs. We have been to many spas this one is the least interesting not so much space. Theymention the breakfast is included but they give you few options (bagel,yougurt). Well i was expecting way more than a belowaverage room for a $500. Not a pleasant experience. Read more
