I love Waffle House, but this one is trash. They don't greet you and we tried to seat ourselves yet this lady said the section... was closed, but other people were already sitting there. A man offered us their table, but we just left instead. Also the placewas filthy. Read more
I would give 0 stars if I could. The place is FILTHY!! There is leftover food on the booths and crumbs under the napkin... dispensers. I saw a waitress throw dirty dishes in the tray and spray them off lightly then throw them through the dish washer.She not once added soap and scrubbed these dishes clean and there was still clunks of food . The silverware had grits on it ,so we had to use plastic . The cups had grits and other leftover food floating in them. One morning about 3 weeks ago themanager did not come out to cook on a short staffed morning and the waitress had to prepare my order . Which causes a delay. Ifyou come after 12:00 you?ll most likely be told they are doing to go orders only or you?ll leave out of disgust because everyoneis talking and sitting down and stares at you like go away when you sit at a table . This one waitress has dreads and NEVER hason a hair net. I requested the store manager after my last experience Monday, and I was told he was not there . The storemanager is never present . The waitress with the purple highlights in her short haircut is RUDE . I don?t understand how she isstill serving there after all of these years this lady tells people to ?GET UP ! Walked in and sat at counter. Only one other customer in store that sounded like a friend of the waitress were in a strong... conversation about their shift and negative dialogue about Waffle House. Sat there for 15 minutes wasn?t greeted by anyone,wasn?t offered a beverage or my order taken. Counters were filthy. The food was great with everything I expected. I went during the late night and it was just ghetto. The service was fine with... the order completed correctly. It was more of a party for the employees with music blasting and them dancing.I guess nothingwould have matter of what was going on if I had been drinking before i got there.They should change the name to THE HOUSE clubat night because that what I feel like it was. This is the worst meal I?ve ever had in my life. This place should be shut down. When we entered, the first thing the waitress... said was, ?Damn, you look rich.? And proceeded to laugh and do nothing else. All the tables were filthy, all the workers wererude. The waffles which are the famous food in that place, where RAW, literally. The bacon burned and everything else nasty. Thekitchen was horrible, dirty, not even the dishes were clean. The waffle machines were filled with uncleaned batter for whatlooks for years. We really hated this place, I?ve never been so mad to eat at a place so much ever. And this is the first time Iwrite a review about anyplace, because I think this time it really is necessary. Our 1st time at this Waffle house. I must say My husband and I both agreed IT Was the best one we've been too. The Grits,didn't... have Any hard lumps & cooked perfect. I especially Love The coffee & Our Waitress, Jazelle, made a fresh pot for us. My onlycomplaint (Is Waffle house coffee is usually stronger) Our food was great & oh Yes LOVE the Raisin toast & Pecan Waffles. Iwould like to say I appreciated the staff acting professional. Because other WH Locations it's like Laplace on Hwy61 for exampleis horrible. Some of The worker's act like their at a house party. Oh 1 BR location the employees had the jukebox on very loud.Skipped 2 of my Song's. Just as bad as the one on Hwy 30, walked in sat at a dirty table for 20min, other ppl came in and also sat there!
