This is a cute little restaurant. I went with one other person in September, 2022. The restaurant was busy and the premises were... clean. I had the scallop burger, which was tasty, served with a generous portion of fries. (See photo). The restaurant wasquite understaffed and It took about an hour for our food to arrive. The server got one of our orders wrong. The person I waswith asked for 1 piece of fish & chips, with a side of mayo. What arrived was the more expensive 2-pieces of fish & chips. Noside of mayo. Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon for some fish and chips, which were delightful. Piping hot and fresh fish. Generous portion... size for two pieces under $20. Scallops were also delicious and very large. Read more
Food was fantastic. We arrived around 1:00 pm and were pleased to see all day breakfast until 2:00 pm, and chicken and waffles... was the special. They took a unique spin on the typical chicken and waffles, sandwiching delicious crispy chicken and a generousamount of really really good bacon with some aioli all between 2 waffles - and each order came with 2 of these incrediblydelicious stacked chicken and waffle breakfast sandwiches side by side - 4 waffles per order - and it was served with syrup fordipping and a side of home fries. It was a big plate of food for a very reasonable price - only $12 - and we left very full andvery happy. Will be returning again. Read more
I don?t like to leave a negative review, but feel that I must. When we had lunch there recently, the service was terribly slow.... I noticed that someone who came in after us was being served their meal. When I asked our server about it she seemed quiteoffended. She said the orders go into the kitchen in the order in which they received but that she would go double check on ourorder. Apparently she didn?t because someone else who came in even later was also now being served their meal. The servereventually admitted to us that the order was lost. We waited 50 minutes for a very lacklustre meal. Not only was the servicebelow par, but so was the food. My food was not hot in the centre and the diced avocado on the top was still partially frozen.If they were busy and shortstaffed I would understand. I can be patient. What I cannot tolerate is being lied to, bad serviceand bad food. Read more
Caroline and I both had the meatloaf sandwich, and it was amazing! Caroline declared that it was the best meatloaf sandwich that... she had ever had. I enjoyed it as well, but perhaps not quite as much. The onion rings were good, as was the garden salad withbalsamic vinaigrette. I had a side of shredded potatoes that I loved, although at home they would have had grilled onion andgarlic added to them. We will definitely have to come back again. Read more
I've only had the chance to stop in twice, but both times I've been super happy! Great coffee and breakfast- You can get a... classic meal or something a little unique. I also had the chance to try the deep fried veggies, which were a staple in Sourisin previous years. Happy to see a similar dish back! Read more
Food is fantastic. Quantity, quality and great service in one. Had no idea this lil gem existed. Great breakfast, our server... was very sweet. Cute lil story she brought over my hubby's breakast, plate laidened with food, upon looking he realized thecook had forgotten the eggs.. We laughed. Server brought the eggs, and complimentary desserts were provided. Our new favoritebreakfasts stop. We cannot wait to try the pizza.? Tried pizza tonight it was good, al tried the Love Burger its very good. Service Is always good, and waitresses are very good. Breakfast here is a great choice, go check them out.
