Smallcakes is our go-to for tasty cupcakes! They're decorated so cute and taste yummy! (Red velvet and pink vanilla are our... fav's!) They have 14 signature flavors consistently but then every week (or month?) they feature 3 different cupcakes that areeither seasonal or different than the usual variety. They also do custom cakes for a great price. They made my son's cake thispast summer and it looked and tasted great! And when the summer finally returns (can't come soon enough!) they have reallytasty, creamy ice cream flavors! I think they make cake shakes too but we haven't tried them yet! Good a good place but very bad and unprofessional when it comes to their birthday cakes. Weird system: you can only email cake... person they can?t get on the phone with you and am not sure if they are doctors or what?they only email till noon?anything yousend after that will be replied next day. So can take up to 5 days to finalize a cake if you are a normal person and workregular hours. In the end after 3 days of back and forth emails they cancelled my sons birthday cake a night before. Literallydead end with us no where to get a cake from. Owner tried to help but looks like she outsourced the stuff and had no control onit. Go for fancy cupcakes but owner needs to streamline the birthday cake process. Read more
Nice cute place, kids friendly, variety of flavors for gelatos and Cupcakes. We loved the lemon drop, caramel, coconut and... Raspberry flavor. Their cupcakes are always fresh, soft and flavorful.They also have pup cakes for the pets. They take orders aswell and customizations available too. Ample parking available. Read more
Absolutely loved the custom cupcake cake I got for my fiancé for his surprise birthday party. Everyone was in wow especially... him with not only the design and art but the taste as well. The cupcakes were flavorful, moist and absolutely delicious. I didchocolate batter with peanut butter filling and vanilla batter with strawberry filling! Both fillings were AMAZING! Cute small shop in the Arboretum in South Barrington, near the ice rink. Plenty of great choices. We ate a couple of cupcakes in... the clean store and took 6 home. Workers are very patient and friendly. The cupcakes are delicious and not too expensive,especially for the area. Read more
Soooooo good! Loved the coconut one, husband loved the Boston cream, kids loved the cookies n cream & peanut butter! Can't wait... to go back! The girls working the counter were very patient and nice even made up a new batch of the peanut butter ones sincethe customer before took the last one.The store was very clean & inviting. Overall good tasting deserts and ice cream. Nice flavors and it tastes fresh. Restaurant is clean and very well put together.... Not a large choice of ice cream or cupcakes. I highly recommend that everyone stops by and grabs a cupcake and ice cream. Read more
