First time there, and I fell in love with this place. We had Fettuccini al Gamberretro, Linguini ai Frutti di Mare and a bottle... of Santa Julia Malbec (fantastic). We had a wonderful meal out at this restaurant tonight. We had the aranchini app, gnocchi and seafood linguini and topped that... with tiramisu dessert. Overall we were very pleased with this meal. Everything was well prepared, the waiter was very attentiveand polite, the setting was subdued and quiet and we had a very good time here. In fact this was better than the other time wehad been to this restaurant a couple of winters ago and we certainly intend to go back again. You can really tell when the chefcares about what he’s doing and what he puts out. We have had a couple of other meals recently at other places in our areathat were frankly very disappointing. Words fail me to fully describe how wonderful this place is. The food is amazing, everything we had….the ribeye in the... Bistecca Di Costata was melt in your mouth delicious, better than most steaks I’ve had for twice the price at steakhouserestaurants. But the piece de resistance was the Paccheri Tartufati. OMG! My parents and I went to eat dinner at this place not too long ago. What a nice restaurant it is, especially it was a great day... to go as well! Besides the service being a little slow, the food was delicious. I ordered the gnocchi dish, which was a greatchoice. The other food was great as well (i.e. calamari). To top it off, I had their canolli dish for desert. It was a greatdining experience overall, so we'll be coming back soon. Read more

Dined in with my girlfriend for our 2-year dating anniversary. The food was excellent! Great presentation, exceptional flavor,... pasta wasn’t drowning in sauce. The ambience was soothing and the prices were very reasonable for an upscale restaurant. Theonly disappointment was that the manager told us our appetizers would be on the house because one was burnt during cooking andhad to be remade and they took considerably long to come out but the server still charged us for them. Great Italian restaurant located within the Arboretum of South Barrington. We made advance reservations to go here but the place... was not too crowded on Sunday night. The restaurant has great and friendly service. Our experience here was very good and beloware some tips about the restaurant. * They have a good amount of outdoor seating which is well covered. They also have heatlamps but those are not good during cold nights as they are small. * Non of the staff wore masks but made sure to follow allother safety protocols. * They are one of the few restaurants that allow pets for outdoor dining. * Normally gets busy soadvance reservations are recommended. * Service is very good and accommodating. Our original seats were in the sun so theyeasily moved us to a shaded area. * Food is delicious and the quantity is just right for one person to eat. * If you likeseafood then definitely try their Salmon con pesto or Linguine ai frutti di mare. The salmon was cooked just right and the pestosauce gives it a good flavor. The Linguine ai frutti di mare is a mix of jumbo shrimp, mussels, and calamari on Linguinepasta. * In vegetarian the rotolo alla vodka was something different. It is suppose to be very creamy but we felt it did nothave too much cream. * Chicken eaters should definitely get either the Pollo Parmigiana (Parmesan chicken with fettuccine pasta)or Pollo Limone (Lemon chicken). The chicken was very soft and tender. * Their minestrone soup is always very flavorful anddelicious. Overall a great family experience. Read more
