After spending $700 of fuel, I went to take a shower. Bad news, 6 persons in line before me. More than 6 open doors with dirty... showers. No one was working on cleaning them? I found the manager and he told me that unfortunately he had no employee to cleanthe showers. I asked him why he was not cleaning them himself (I personally think that?s what a good manager would do) With anarrogant tone he told me that I could wait until someone would clean the showers or I could just leave. Decent parking, it?s the last flying J on I-90 before you enter Wisconsin. Nice place
I entered and was immediately irritated by the fact that I was greeted by the sounds of two young female employees squealing... loudly and trying to race each other to the massage chairs in the Driver's Lounge. Upon entering I noticed that only a MENSRESTROOM was on this side and all FEMALE DRIVERS are to be relegated to the other side of the store and not conveniently in theDRIVER'S LOUNGE and by the fuel lanes. This disgusts me as I, like many other female drivers did not take a PINK CDL test andspend GREEN MONEY at the pumps. My total this trip was 500.00 so perhaps this company could deign to turn one shower into aWOMENS ROOM since we haul the same freight and spend the same money as other drivers... After the walk across the store, I'mgreeted by one of the worst sights of cleanliness Ive seen in awhile. Toilet paper littered the floor in front of the stalls anda FLJ employee quickly tried to race around me to pick it up b4 I took pics but the over flowing trash told me this room had nothad any sort of courtesy check in quite some time. Toilet seats still had tissue on them and the handicap stall and one otherhad no tissue at all. The handicap actually had the roll on the nasty floor. This was 14:00 on Dec 8 2021 and there were atleast 6 or 7 staff members on the clock including a grey shirted male manager who was slowly putting stock out like there wasnothing going on in the world. Disgusting store. Poor management. Terrible customer service. Won't return ever. P. S. Whilerunning to take a break in the chairs used as a respite for ppl who drive all over the country to bring you niceties, how aboutcleaning up your facilities for them or work somewhere else. ???????????? Just wow..everytime i stop it get worse.. Not just talking the filth and lines of dirt on the hand rails the whole store needs... to be cleaned.. If the staff at the store leaves it all around like this .. Could only imagine the reason i dont eat atDennys. U should see the level of fealth at the pumps.. I was grateful for a good place to get propane, dump my waste, and refueled today. The service folks were all very nice and... helpful. I was surprised that they have an unusual policy about propane caps right now. Apparently they have had issues, sothey had me remove my own cap and loosen my own overflow valve. The water is currently turned off, which I assume is forwinter. That makes sense. It's cold out right now. All in all, it was an excellent experience and I would happily shop hereagain. Read more
This a nice truck stop. Has a lot of parking available and a ton of showers. I?ve almost always been able to find a spot here no... matter what time. Also never had to wait for a shower. I like this truck stop, nice and quiet. Read more
For somewhere off a highway, you're better off heading into Beloit. Especially if you need air. There's a Mobil off of 251 and... 75 instead of paying $5. Decent gas but that's it. Read more
