Had the Monday pale ale and the sirloin & brisket burger. Burger was delicious; came with a large portion of fries. Monday pale... ale was a refreshing ale with fruit/ citrus flavor. Easy to drink. Next to the river which was nice on a temperate fall day. Read more

A great place to enjoy a cold one when you?re in South Bend. We stumbled upon this and we?re glad we gave it a try. Fantastic... beer, delicious food and friendly staff make it worth recommending. There are two dining areas and the upstairs patio has a goodview of the River. Perfect a sundown after a long day of driving. Read more

Best service and bartenders! Three times in a row of getting cold, raw, and otherwise miscooked food. Been going here somewhat... consistently since their opening and love many of the people that work and have worked here. Over time it?s become a situationin which I never know what I?m going to get. So bad, it?s turned to a point I had to write this review. Y?all need to getahold of yourselves. It?s way too embarrassing for me to constantly send my food back, and I?m a super lowconflict/confrontation kinda guy. Anyways, sorry but it?s the truth. Otherwise, Thanks for always having vegan options! Read more

Excellent food, legendary customer service. I loved my Pad Thai with tofu, and my husband loved his smoked sausage and brisket... platter. My dark chocolate hazelnut stout was great, too, and sonwws Joe's sparkling pog mimosa. The best part, however, wasMiss Allie's people skills. We can't wait to come back and ask for her. Read more

First time here and we will be coming back. Our server, Chellee, was great and personable. We had the Texas BBQ, the Poke,... Sirloin & Brisket burger and the Avocado appetizer (as a dinner). All the meals were very good. Unfortunately, I had forgottento take the food pictures prior to starting to eat them so they aren't displayed as nicely as when they were delivered. I hadthe Ash & Elm Cider, which is a sweet and tart cherry drink and it was fantastic! Others had a Paloma slushy and the BlueberryElderflower slushy! The Paloma was just ok but was told that the blueberry was delicious! Looking forward to our next visithere! Read more

Beers were just so-so. Smoked meats were ok. Pastrami was the best one (not dry at all) but the shoulder and brisket both dry.... Taste was good. Interesting slaw and potato salad and good pickles. Pretty spot though!!! Read more

Ewe will Love Crooked Ewe!! I flew into South Bend International Airport and after receiving my bags and picking up my rental... car I was starving. I had Crooked Ewe in my iPhones GPS so I could go straight there from the airport. When I got there it wasraining and the parking lot was almost full. Please note that people come and go, so I only had to wait a few minutes formultiple parking spaces to free up. I walked from the parking lot to the entrance and went in. Upon my arrival, and just comingfrom Ontario, I was the only one aside from the staff wearing a mask. It seemed so surreal after being in lockdowns and havingto wear a mask everywhere you go in Ontario. I made my way to the bar and noticed one side had no one sitting there and satdown. The Bartender/Beer aficionado came over right away and recommended some of the seasonal beers to me, and helped me choosefood for my dinner and the best beers to go with my meal. He also left me some samples to try out while I was deciding. Foodand Drink for This Evenings Meal. Beers ( Brought some home too ) Glasgow Butcher Scotch Ale Vital IPA Wendigo AmericanStout Relief v3 Food FRIED RICE - Caramelized Brussel sprouts, Brined pork belly, Kimchi and Cilantro, Edamame, topped witha one hour egg and tso sauce. Smoke ( Meat Platter ) - Brisket, Shoulder and Pastrami as the meats with elder breadsourdough, accoutrements (bacon & heritage potato salad , Brussels & pork belly, house pickles with bbq sauce). The Beer wasvery well made, I've had beer at hundreds of Brew Pubs all over the US and Canada. Indiana's Craft beer scene is thriving ( justsayin' ) and Crooked Ewe is right up there with the best. The food was very well made and presented, and not one item in any ofthe dishes was disliked. The Bartender did a great job matching beers with the foods. Inside is a really well designed diningroom, cozy and spacious so you don't feel cramped and you still are a comfortable distance from others. The ba Read more
