I ordered the mushroom swiss butter burger and as always with culvers and more specifically that location the burger was amazing... as it is everytime I order one. The burger is cooked just right to perfection as well as the mushrooms are full of butteryflavor which both get complimented perfectly by the swiss cheese that is melting just enough to hold it all together but not somuch as to be messy and the accent of the Swiss cheeses flavor is on point. I don't usually care for crinkle cut french friesbut when they come from culvers, I'll eat every single one in my order lol. Then to top of the eating experience ( I onlyfigured/realized this about two possibly three trips ago) the house brew, custom or special recipe rootbeer culvers makesspecially their own is the figurative cherry on top to the meal. I always walk away full and satisfied ready for a nap lol. Iused to always only use the drive-thru, once I started going inside even if ordering to go is when I discovered the deliciouscustom culvers rootbeer. If it was sold by the bottle or can or even better outta the fountain like theirs at gas stations andconvenience stores I would regularly purchase it. I will say I ordered a medium mashed potato and gravy bowl that can be a sidefor an upcharge I believe. The sides only come in medium and large also and honestly the medium bowl is shorter and largeraround then the large bowl which is taller and skinnier. I love Culver?s! Oh my gosh their food is wonderful and for the amount and size of their food you can?t beat it! It?s real food... lol! I can go their and get the burger the fries the drink for $2.00 more then the average drive-thru sure BUT it?s too much forme to eat so for me it?s worth it I don?t feel sick/upset stomach after either!!! So yes this is now the only fast foodrestaurant I go too! Let?s not forget the employees they?re great! And a shout out to Bridgett B. who works their and is alwaysso helpful and kind to me she takes her time to do things right rather then rush and mess things up so thank you Culver?s forfinally right here on 933! My fish was super watery tasting.. like it was soaked in sink water for a long time. I felt as though I was drinking a glass of... water and not eating a fish fish sandwich.. tarter sauce was bairly seen or tasted either.. they were not busy at all but mywait before my food was brought the the front was 10 min.. fries were super yummy though.. Great burgers! Fast food hasn't done it quite this well in a while in this area! The downfall is their chicken tenders. ~$7 for... 4 tenders. Your money will be better spent on a bag of frozen tenders at your local Walmart. If chicken tenders/nuggets are yourfave, I don't recommend. The honey Mustard was quite sweet, not tangy as well. I usually get a burger when I come here, but decided I needed some comfort food...this is it! I may never get a burger again.... ???? The beef is so tender & flavorful with all that yummy gravy. It's like an open faced sandwich with the beef loaded on topof sourdough bread. It came with a roll, but I didn't eat it. The whole meal, with broccoli & mashed potatoes, was very filling.I had no room for a shake...darn. Service was quick & with a smile! Love Culver's! Read more
Fast food restaurants and workers often get a bad rap. I'm pleasantly surprised by how helpful the employees are here, and the... food is surprisingly decent--although as a non-carnivore, I can't make any assessments of the burgers. They are one of only afew fast food 'burger' places that still offers a vegetarian burger that ISN'T fake meat ("impossible" burgers, forexample...yuck). Their concrete mixers are like DQ blizzards only they cost LESS and you can just make your own flavor. (I dolike some of the DQ blizzard flavors, but they seem pretty ridiculously overpriced in comparison.) Also, flavor of the dayfrozen custard is frequently excellent. I like the cheese curds and the onion rings but recently they seem obnoxiously salty tothe point of almost not being able to eat them. (I know fast food is not renowned for its low sodium content, but dang!) On thewhole, I'm pretty sure that having this Culver's so close by is the main reason I only lost 30 pounds on chemo. It's been agreat option for me to get easy, palatable calories. I love the Curdside pick up option--order online, I don't have to leave mycar! On the occasions I've gone inside or drive-through, I've also been pleased with the service. (Including the shift managerwho gave my dog his own little cup of vanilla frozen custard with peanut butter...he was OVER THE MOON!) Read more
