Fun Irish Pub near campus. Touting the best wings in South Bend, we went with that. Buffalo style, but lots of other flavors. ... Medium plus sized wings that well pretty good, so I can't argue thier claim! French Onion soup was really good. I'd orderagain. Spring Meadow Salad had fresh veggies, but I ordered the chicken add on. Cold and with a weird flavor, so I think itwas prepackaged. Serving a warm chicken breast should be easy for them to do. Drinks? Everything you would expect. Guinnesscame in a "ND" glass, so that was fun! Magners on tap, so get that glass of ice on the side. My wife ordered the Golden Domeburger. The egg on top was perfectly cooked and she would order it again. I would recommend this restaurant if you're in town. Irish pub across from Notre Dame has good beer and food. Try the O'Rourke burger as it was excellent. I must point out I went... there 2x over a weekend and all bartenders and wait staff were equally excellent. Place was packed and they still were able toprovide great customer service. Read more

On par with all the other reviews of this place the food is pretty good but the service is horrible. We sat down at the bar and... the guy behind the bar looked at us and walked away. The food took forever to come out after we ordered at a time that wasn?tthat busy. The salmon was really good but overall not worth the frustration of the service. Read more

Food was really quite good, better than this rating, but the service was sub par from the second we walked in the door. They... were not busy on this evening. On second thought, the mac and cheese was dry and felt like it had been sitting in the window fora while. Even if it was fresh the ratio of mac to cheese would not have worked. It was a big bowl of noodles with a hint ofcheese sauce. The host was distracted by his phone, then others on staff. We were finally seated and sat there getting to seethe show of staff just having a good time. Our server was nice and friendly, just seemed to be running in circles, as if shewas really busy, but I'm pretty sure she only had us and 1 other table.
