Did not know what to expect when we got here as it was a pit stop on our road trip. We were the first one here and had the... place all to ourselves. Service was fast and friendly. The arancini was the best dish we ordered. Great crunchy texture witha creamy savory center. The meatball was a bit dry and could use a higher fat ratio. The two pasta dishes we ordered (cabonaraand lemon chicken) were a bit disappointing. This was due to the pasta noodles. They were too big and although they were aldente (almost under cooked), it was a poor vehicle for the tasty cabonara sauce. Read more

A nice atmosphere but a disappointment after it being on our must visit list for so long. Menu is exceptionally limited. ... Lasagna came out only warm and I had to send it back to be microwaved longer. My wife suffered through hers. Capprese had aDijon mustard type drizzle instead of balsamic... very weird. And the tiramisu was weak too. I'll just stop there. We havemuch better other options around. Read more

All staff was friendly. Upon entering and seeing the dining room and the additional seating by a wall of windows it seemed like... a nice place to have a date. Once you start looking around you'll notice a basketball hoop on the wall w/ a notre damebasketball inside along with photos everywhere of notre dame related people and events, some are even signed. The bruschettaappetizers was great. The lasagna and the carbonara plus chicken were lack luster. My husband and I wanted to try it because heloves Italian food. However for us, it's not worth a return visit. Read more

Extremely disappointed. The pastas were Nothing like the description dry dry dry. $42 for two dinners that were not worth $10.... I really think they may have forgotten most the sauce. Read more

Drove into town and needed a place to eat. They were able to squeeze us in although when we arrived the restaurant was empty.... Perhaps they were expecting lots of reservations or trying not to overload the staff. We asked on the phone if it was casualdress and the response was “it can be.” After arriving, I can say it was definitely casual. The chicken limone and Parmesanwere great- chicken was moist and delicious. Beware there was no kids menu. We found this several places in South Bend which Ifound to be odd. Desserts were tasty too, we had the giant chocolate cake and tiramisu. Our server was very pleasant. We woulddefinitely recommend this restaurant Read more

Amazing food, service, and ambience. They prepared a vegetarian version of the Arancini as per our prior request! All the dishes... were so delicious and filling. The igloo was an experience within itself too. Will definitely come back! Read more

Very upscale Italian restaurant. Located right outside of the University of Notre Dame along South Bend Avenue. You will find it... packed with Notre Dame fans on gameday. You can see the stadium from the parking lot and if you walk a half block northeast youcan see Touchdown Jesus, Hesburgh Library. Lots of history in this building, worth a visit when visiting South Bend Indiana orNotre Dame. Read more
