We got a Platter, and the food was very good, despite the fact that the cook threw in a fried hotdog. AND both the beef and... chicken were tough. The shrimp was not. Unsurprisingly, there was no wait. The thing about this place is that it is doing avery good job of imitating an abandoned building! The road sign is dark 24 hours a day, there are no lights in the windows, withthe exception of a VERY small "Open" sign on the SIDE of the building, and the parking lot rarely has more than one or two carsin it. It used to be a Ponderosa, so the front window has booths with hanging lamps, and is cut-off from the Dining room by awall with false windows and a single doorway. BUT they don't turn them on, so the whole front of the restaurant is dark! When wecame in, there was a couple eating at one of those window booths, but still, they hadn't turned even that one light on! Theowner claims it is a Premier Mexican restaurant, but they have a way to go, if they are putting hot-dogs in the $23.99meals! It's almost as if they WANT it to fail. Read more

I had 2 beef soft and 1 hard taco and a beef burrito. Food was excellent. Atmosphere was good. The staff was very friendly.... Well worth a visit you will not be disappointed. They even have hamburgers for those people that don't like Mexican but want tojoin the group. Read more

The food was excellent! Huge portions and very food service. No long wait in the lobby. Great beer selection as well.

Story time; So my daughter and I have had so awful Mexican food here locally, so I was really scared to try yet another place..... I was surely surprised by Plaza Azteca, they are truly delicious. This is my new favorite local spot! The staff is friendly andsocial with their customers, the restaurant is extremely clean. They get an A+++ from me and I'm very picky about Authenticfood. Food very good. Prices decent and yes they charge 4% for using a credit card, but they have it clearly stated everywhere.

The food is absolutely delicious and the staff are all awesome too! As for drinks you definitely get bang for your buck!... Definitely one of my new favorites! You may be paying a little more for some items, but you're 100% paying for quality, and theygive you generous portions. Read more

Service was great Daniel did an amazing job. Hands down some of the best food I have had. The salsa Verde is amazing they should... sell it in a jar. You won't be disappointed with the flavors and portions of this place. The margaritas were great too. Read more
