We dine at RoseLily quite often. It is the absolute best atmosphere, service and food you will eat anywhere in Northern, IN.... They have a WHOLE ENTIRE vegan/vegetarian menu!?!? ???????????? AMAZING!!!! I would highly suggest doing the chef tasting withthe wine pairing. Chef Amon’s tasting menu items are always beyond what you could ever imagine as far as flavor andpresentation!! The wine pairing allows you to try little known wines and ALSO the history of the vintner, region, process and somuch more. Every experience surpasses the last. We cannot get enough! Go. Now. THIS. PLACE. it’s so good. Everything is so freaking good. I live in Chicago and have some of the worlds best restaurants in... walking distance. Wow what an experience. This little gem is a must visit if you are in south bend and you love great food. I sat at the bar and... started with two small plates - the Spanish Octopus and the pork belly. The octopus was seasoned so flavorfully and it was verytender. The Marcona almonds were the perfect touch. The pork belly was incredibly tender and has this amazing white sauceunderneath, and when paired with the fig jam it was the perfect mix of flavors. I was so sad once I ate it all. For dessert Ihad some sort of chocolate/espresso/marshmallow goodness. The bartender was attentive and friendly. Can’t wait to come backnext time I’m in town. Highlights: Incredible food and wine Friendly non-pretentious atmosphere Budget friendly Michelin quality We did the 5 course... chef tasting with the wine pairing and it was incredible! The portions were perfect, all very different dishes that still wentwell together. The wine pairings were thoughtful and delicious. Prior to going I searched to see what others had experiencedduring the tasting and couldn't find examples of the food they had. I'm glad I couldn't and I won't spoil it for you either. Ifyou aren't a picky eater and you don't have allergies let the chef do their thing. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly.The pacing of the night was perfect. Expect to spend two hours but it will fly by. I don't know how often they change their menubut we will definitely be back. Read more
