Stopped in to pick up our order, pizza wasn't done and we were told 5 minutes. 45 minutes later the hostess didn't even update... us on our pizza or acknowledge us until she was forced to by another customer. The pizza they gave us had obviously been areject that had been sitting for at least 20 minutes and then they just threw uncooked pepperoni slices on it? We would havebeen fine waiting longer for a fresh pizza but we weren't even given that option. Would recommend eating in, would neverrecommend taking out. Read more

Pizza is always good and thier food is all local. Loveee it! I love coming here with my family and the location in Essex is sooo... adorable! If you have only been to the williston road location you should definitely take a chance on the Essex location ! as people visiting from out of state - this was a horrible first experience in Vermont. definitely put a damper on our trip. we... placed a carry out order and arrived on time to pick it up. the restaurant was not busy, one table had customers and in the over30 additional minutes we waited for our food, only one other customer came in for a pick up. my partner is disabled and has tostand the entire time we waited because the staff refused to let him sit for a moment. all that to be told they made part of ourorder over 30 minutes ago and just let it sit while they took their time making our pizza.... just an overwhelmingly badexperience. definitely don't recommend if you're looking for that Vermont hospitality we were expecting. Friday afternoon and place was getting busy. I noticed quite a few pizza takeouts. Lauren, our server was very friendly.... Basically appetizers, salads, pizzas and hamburgers. Food was very good, especially the sweet potato fries - crunchy on theoutside and soft on the inside. Wood fired salad was interesting. Wood fired veggies served on a bed of greens. Mai Tai drinkwas good but a little overpriced. For dessert they only had fried dough as they ran out of ice cream and cherries. Will be goingback! Read more
