We're so glad that the reviews popped up for us to learn of Elephant Thai. Went here for the first time and sat right down and... found the waitresses friendly and attentive. We ordered a chicken and pineapple dish with fried rice and combined the two. Mostdelicious. I had some of the freshest sushi I've ever had. The tamago had just the right amount of sweetness. The maguro washigh quality sushi grade and eel was just right. The JB roll was very good, made with salmon and cream cheese. We tried thesummer spring rolls with shrimp for an appetizer. The presentation was as good as I've seen and comparable to Sushi Bang Bangin Boca Raton. Nice good sized portions and all was reasonably priced. Folks, you have to try this local hidden gem. You willnot be disappointed! BTW: We've been going here once a week now. 5/29/22: Came in by myself and sat at the sushi bar. Had aUnagi Poke Bowl with rice, edemami, cucumber, and seaweed salad. The eel was the best and the entire dish was excellent! Alsohad to have a couple Tamago sushi....Very tasty! Folks, you have to try this resturant! As usual, Jessie waited.on me and theservice is always the best here. Enjoy!!! 7/16/22: stopped for dinner and enjoyed two outstanding meals. My better half hadtheir Elephant Thai fried rice with chicken and asked for a bowl of sweet n sour sauce to mix in. It was so good I'm going tohave that myself the next time we stop in. Tonight I had the freshest, well prepared, tasty sushi including a "Beauty and theBeast" roll, maguro, tomago, unagi, and conch sushi. The presentation was just stunning (See the latest white platter photobelow). I washed it down with a most delicious Sapporo beer that was ice cold. Tulip waited on us and we enjoyed a wonderfulconversation with her and found out that the resturant is family owned and she is part of it. Then, we met a fellow named Robfrom Tennessee who travels around on his Kawasaki motor cycle and was exploring the greater Charleston area. Y Read more

I got drunken noodles with beef and I liked it a lot. I didn?t wait too long to get my food, maybe about 10 minutes. The portion... was good. The beef could be a little more, but anyways it was delicious. The staff where super nice and friendly. I found astring in my food, like the ones are around meat when you buy one. I told the waitress and after apologizing for it, they gaveme another whole order in a box to go. I don?t live in Charleston, but I would go again if I pass that way. Read more

Just staying in Charleston overnight and found this place poking around on the internet. It is a small place in an artsy looking... part of town. Parking is limited so walking may be involved. We arrived about 5:00PM on a Tuesday evening. We were greetedpromptly and taken to a table. After that, the service slowed quite a bit as they got busier. We practically had to beg for thecheck. The food definitely made up for the leisurely service. My spouse ordered the Hawaiian roll. Such a beautiful platepresentation, and the roll itself was delicious. Very fresh tuna in the roll, and it came with a side of the ?good? ginger ?yellow not that weird pink stuff. I ordered the salmon poke. Again, nice presentation. The poke contained sticky rice, freshsalmon, edamame, pickled daikon radish, radish, and some type of shrimp like sauce. Again, very delicious, and I devoured theentire thing. BTW - they make the best sticky rice we?ve ever had, and we?ve been around. Definitely give this a try! Read more

We tried Elephant Thai for the first time today and it was really excellent. We ordered takeout and the food was hot and waiting... for us when we arrived. Everything we got was well prepared and delicious. The beef Drunken Noodles had excellent flavor and alittle spice that went very well with everything. The gy?za was crispy and the filling was great. The best thing we got though Ithink was the tuna chips. It was a simple dish but very flavorful and we both really liked them and wished we got more. I'ddefinitely recommend trying Elephant Thai out if you haven't yet. Read more

Great service and great food. Don't sleep on this Thai restaurants sushi options either. Only think I wasn't a fan of and it's... mainly a pet peeve was the booths/menus/tables weren't the cleanest, but the food made up for it. Read more
