My husband and I just came back from an overnight stay at Rose Valley Lodge and everything was more than perfect. Our children... had given this to us as a Christmas gift. I can?t say enough about the friendliness of Deborah and Markus. The 5 course mealwas beyond excellent, the cabin was so quaint and the breakfast was so good! BEAUTIFUL Log cabin with a wood stove fire, jacuzzi tub, keurig, and all around cozy atmosphere. Many animals to go see, you can... snow shoe or go for a hike or take a sauna. Great 5 course meal dinner (fresh bread, soup, salad, pasta, main course and dessertand you get a breakfast) in a beautifully decorated chalet style diner. Great host and service. Truly one of the best places in Thunder Bay area to eat. You have to try this place. We go a few times a year, the food is... reasonably priced and amazing. Best kept secret in Tbay! Amazing home feel from the welcoming owners Deborah and Marcus. The food is world class and the log... cabins the coziest you can wish for. We got married here and have had many meals. We had a lovely time at Rose Valley! Deborah and Marcus were kind and hospitable hosts. The cottage was quaint with modern... amenities (including a great jacuzzi bathtub). Everything was clean and we'll maintained. Oh and the hobby farm was a tonne offun! Overall we HIGHLY recommend both the restaurant and the accommodations! Thanks for a great getaway! Read more
