Drove by on Labor Day, the smoke captured my attention. I ordered tip and link combo. The quality of the meat was not good. It... was very tuff. I have great teeth but I couldn't break the meat down to swallow safely. They never answered the phone to hear mycomplaint. I got a tip and link combo from here about 3 different times and it was absolutely delicious. I had only one issue. The very... first time I visited it was some young ladies working as cashiers, they were very rude to the point I almost never came back.The last two times I came they weren't there so I think the owner probably realized they weren't a good fit for his newbusiness. Rib tips and chicken really good but we stopped going because they are really slow. I would call in an order and they would say... it'll be ready in 20 minutes. I would show up after 30 mins and would still have to wait another 20 minutes or so. I think theydidn't start my order until i arrived and paid. People walking in ordering got their food before us. OmG still one of the best meaty, tender and sauced up?????????? So I had to update my review. I think they gave me last night's... food. The chicken is chewy and soggy, the fries are not fresh at all and the meat is bits and scraps also jerky like. I orderedwhen they first opened so everything should have been fresh no excuses ???? Husband said his lunch was disgusting. He ordered turkey tips and link. He says the food had so much sauce on it you couldn't... even enjoy it. And you can't tell what type of meat it is. I've learned years ago that if a bbq house have to drown the meat insauce then it's either burnt and dried out. Read more
I got the large tip and the serving size is really nice for the price. My only issue was that the rib tips were tough and very... chewy. Also had some piece that were more on the burn size. Sauce is really good and my fries were fresh. I called my orderahead of time but still had to wait quite a bit once I came and paid for it. Wasn?t a big issue for me. If I had more rib tipsthat weren?t tough this would have been a 5 star review. But maybe today was a bad day. Food was ok. Links lacked flavor and the fries seemed stale or dry; like they were sitting for awhile. The tips were overall ok.... The quantity is good, just slightly over cooked and chewy. Super saucy but still you can tell some pieces were slightly tough.Some pieces were good too; just had to pick through them. I may give them another try but I?m not sure. A few weeks ago I visited Sunnyside on the recommendation of a friend. It was good, saucy, meat was tender! Today, I ordered the... exact same meal, large tip, extra bread. This time I only got 1 piece of bread, the container wasn't full, and a lot of thefries and meat had no sauce on them! I really thought I had found a good spot, but if the food is inconsistent, that's notgood. I could tell when I picked up the bag that there was a lot less than last time.
