Been here a few times and I?ve never been disappointed. They have a wide range of sushi options and all the ones I?ve tried have... been good. Today I got the Sunkist roll (a favorite of mine, but I love citrus), playboy, and popcorn and all were fantastic!!The prices are reasonable and they have a half-off deal for weekday lunch that is amazing! The location is a busy mini shopping and dining area. We'll situated you may have to park at the back depending on time of day.... The waitress was friendly. The atmosphere is pleasant enough but is a bit confused. It has some TVs on the wall with news orgames reminiscent of a sports bar or burger joint but the decor just seems incongruous. The sushi itself was acceptable. I havehad better but also had much worse. The Phildelphia roll had too much cream cheese and it overpowered the rest of the flavors. Icouldn't eat more than one piece. I would have liked some more Wasabi with my order as well but it is what it is. Pricing wascompetitive. I might come again but would like to try some other options in the area first for comparison. Read more
We use to go here all the time, food was great. This time they changed the menu and I always order the Salmon Teriyaki and it... came with salad & soup and would have a few tempura veggies (that I love!) This time price went up no soup, salad or tempuraveggies you now have to pay extra. I would have but the waiter did not ask or mention any of it. I won't go back but if you want good sushi before the movie they would be a good option. Read more

Decided to order lunch from Blue Fish today and I am really glad that I did! So many wonderful choices from their menu, but I... ultimately went with the 3 item Bento Box. This option allowed me to choose 3 Items to be served w/white rice - I selected thepork gyoza, the 8 piece California Roll and 4 chicken egg rolls. Normally, I struggle with how to-go bento boxes are packagedup but I was impressed with how my meal was presented and packaged up for its journey. Little things like this go a long wayfrom a customer standpoint! But let's talk about the food! Everything was yummy as expected, plenty of sauces for each item andit was all packed with flavor. There are two places for sushi in the Salt Lake valley - downtown Takashi and Blue Fish in South Jordan. While I?m drawn by... Takashi?s purist approach, I love the creativity the Korean sushi chefs Joe, Sang and Song bring to table at Blue Fish. I?m notan expert on sushi, but after having spent more than 25 years of my live in the San Francisco Bay Area, I?ve learned that whenit comes to sushi everything has to be balance of flavors. Both places know their craft and you will not be disappointed at BlueFish. Be adventurous and try out any new additions to the sushi menu, like the Smokin? Hot roll delivered in a smoke infusedtin box or the Volcano. We usually also get the Queen roll, Vampire roll, Hungry roll, Coco Crunch roll and Firefighter roll.Nothing like having a feast at Blue Fish ????
