I love this restaurant! It never disappoints! It is delicious!!!! I love everything I have tried on the menu. The staff is... always nice and the atmosphere is clean and quiet. There are small booths for intimate groups and also long tables for biggroups to socialize. Their menu is diverse for all sorts of choices and they do have a very small kids menu for kids that don'tlike the international flavors ( though it is orange colored rice with the kids meal which some might find not appealing) thetable settings are very mature. Delicious Indian and Himalayan food! The flavors are spot on. I got chicken tikka masala and cheese naan. The cheese naan is so... good! The masala sauce was spicy, but not overwhelmingly spicy. Just a good kick. I recommend this place! Read more
Did a take out / to go order today. I was a little concerned due to some negative reviews for take out service. I had no... problem. I was told my two orders of chicken tikka masala and biryani chicken would be ready in 20 minutes and it was ready in18. Great service, great food, reasonable price. 4 of us ate for under $50. We stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch. We were seated right away, onion bahji (ate it too fast to take a pic) was... brought out very quickly followed by our meals. We had Butter Chicken, Navrathan Korma and Garlic Cheese Naan. It was SOGOOD!!!! Best butter chicken outside of our trip to India! Himalayan kitchen never disappoints! We usually go to the Salt Lake City location but we were in the area and wanted to try this... one out. I love the layout and clean design. Our host was awesome! You could tell her was busy as he was the only one doingeverything up front but he took really good care of us. The restaurant only had 2 other parties for him to take care of butthere were plenty of grubhub orders that kept coming in. The food was delicious! We ordered the butter chicken and tandooriwith a side of garlic Naan and 2 vegetable samosas. I usually opt for the mild version while my husband goes for the medium orhigh. Our chickens were cooked to perfection and the samosas with the dipping sauces were yummy. If you have visited the SLClocation and know how hard it is to find parking I have good news for you: plenty of parking here! Read more
It was freezing cold outside and we were craving some piping hot food. Found this place with majority 5-star reviews. After... being seated for 15mins, finally someone came to take our orders. We ordered Veg Momos, Veg Thukpa, Veg Chow Chow and PotatoChili. The person who took our orders was very rude and was giving us weird looks. We got the food after more than 30mins ofdesperate waiting. The person who brought the order was also rude and behaving as if it was free food. The food was very spicyand extremely oily.
