We had high hopes based on reviews and recommendation but were very disappointed in our medium sized, "base camp" pizza To Go. ... No 1/2 & 1/2 allowed. The dough was pretty flavorless. We asked for extra red sauce but ended up with white sauce and barelyany at that. The Greek Salad was good but for a bill of $50, short wait or long, we will not be returning. Read more

Absolutely amazing food and experience! Hostess said 45-60min wait and we were sat in 40. Got the Smokey BBQ chicken pizza... (YUM) Spinach artichoke dip (Even Better!) and garlic bread (tasty too) Absolutely recommend and the live music was good too! Read more

I’ve been here more than a dozen times over the years and it never disappoints. Tried many of the pizzas, never had a bad one.... Awesome rotating collection of beers on draft. We moved to SOUTH LAKE TAHOE a month ago after traveling the United States for 2 years during Covid after selling everything in... discovery bay ca looking for our forever home. So we’ve had pizza in 30 states and I must say that the gluten-free pizza hereat Basecamp pizza is the best we’ve had out of all. The staff here is extremely friendly and the location is perfect ifyou’re looking to get out and listen to a live band and people watch. Since we’ve moved here we’ve been to Basecamp pizzasix times in four weeks. I’m sure this will be a weekly thing for us due to my wife only being able to have gluten-free. Base Camp Pizza is where it’s at!!! Probably some of the best pizza I have ever had and by far the best pizza in the Tahoe... area. The service was fast and the staff were friendly and attentive. When it comes to the taste of the food… the food wasdelicious! I wish I would have ordered an extra pizza to take home with me. Whether you are coming to the area in summer orwinter (or the seasons in between) this restaurant is a must try. I highly recommend coming here if you are in the area. Read more

Pizza was good! Not the best pizza in the world but very good. The unique flavors were nice. We tried the Thai Curry, the Pear... Gorgonzola, and the margarita pizza. All were very good. WOW!!!! We absolutely love Base Camp Pizza in Heavenly Village. It’s the first and last place we eat in Tahoe. There are... actually three of them in Tahoe but they all have different names. There’s Fireside Pizza In Palisades (formally Squaw Valley)and Rubicon Pizza in Northstar but the menus and taste are all the same. We are Chicago and New York Pizza lovers so it’s ashock for us the even like the Thai Chicken Curry Pizza so much. And if you like it spicy tell them to make it spicy. Heat scale1 out of 5. Also the Basecamp Pizza (combo) is amazing. They’ll even do a half and half if you aren’t ready to fully commit.There will be line to dine in but you can order online and pickup. We’ve done both but prefer to eat it there. The staff arealways hella dope. My teen loves the Root Beer on tap served in a mason jar. Tip: Only at Heavenly you can put your cell numberon the list and go to the casinos and gamble until your phone says to come back to pizza heaven. Read more
