The food is decent. The service is super slow and the staff can be pretty gruff and rude. The place isn't even really that busy... and it's nearly an hour to get 3 sandwiches. Check wait times before you commit, as it really isn't worth waiting that long. Read more
Whoa, NO GLOVES!!!! The two young men were pleasant enough, slow service, the sandwich was fresh, but they handled my cash and... answered the phone, and touched my food, without washing or cleansing hands in between. Never waited close to a hour for a sandwich before. I can understand though with how much the staff talks and lacks the ability... to multi-task. If you don?t have an hour to wait on slow staff I?d recommend Chico?s it?s right next door and they are on point. Read more
How does it take an hour to make a mediocre sandwich? lol never been to a slower sandwich shop in my life. on top of that the... owner is b*the about it. I guess she has new tourists come in weekly so customers service is trash. No gloves as mentioned before. More of a Socail hang out then a business. Or at least according to the owner. **Order at least 45 min in advance** I've been to a lot of beach hut delis and the food is always good, but this location seems... to have problems keeping up with demand. Almost every time I order food here there is at least a 30 minute wait. Yesterday Iwaited an hour. I have had other similar experiences here, waiting 30-45 min on average. My wife brother and I are standing here watching them make ours and a bunch of other sandwiches, the nice owner is on the line... working hard but we are watching the 5 staff members all make sandwiches with their bare hands. On our way out of Tahoe we stopped in Beach Hut Deli and were immediately greeted by the owner and her friendly dog. The... location is very clean, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The bread is made fresh daily and the produce was cutspecifically for our sub -- The Northshore. We ordered 12" to share and had plenty left over. Sub tasted delicious and wasloaded with ham, turkey & roast beef. If we lived in the area we would definitely be repeat customers. Read more
Fantastic sandwiches! Stopped here on a recommendation from our family, and they weren?t wrong. Perfect for taking to the lake... or eating there. The staff was awesome. Next time we travel that far, we will definitely eat there again. Read more
