My husband and I recently visited Lake Tahoe for our anniversary. After 13 hours of traveling, we didn't want to go far for... dinner. Chevy's was next door to our hotel and super convenient. It also happened to be a delicious restaurant! The service wasgreat, the margaritas were even better, and the food was delish! We actually ate here twice on our trip it was so good. The BBQwings on the appetizer menu was my favorite thing I had while we were there. I also recommend the bartender Jeff, who makes akiller watermelon margarita. Read more

Service is terrible ! Omg. We waited Atleast 40 minutes to get in and 1 hour and a half to get our appetizers!! Took Atleast 20... mins for them to get out drinks to the table. The restaurant was dirty, the hostess stood around & didn't bother to tidy up the the FOH. The service was good, just not super... friendly. The food left something to be desired. We ordered the Cinco platter and the beef taco was the best item offered. Weboth returned our Chile relleno for another taco. The Chile relleno was deep fried and tasted absolutely terrible! What?? No Queso?? Being from Houston where you can arguably get the best Mexican food in the US, I wasn't expecting much and... well, I didn't even get that! I had the famous chicken fajitas and the chicken was obviously previously frozen and rubbery. How can you mess up fajitas? And no queso? Instead you can eat the salsa which isn't bad or the $8 guac. If you're lookingfor cheap mexican food that tastes cheap, you've found it! If you have higher hopes stay away. Oh and the margaritas are cheap. Read more

Don't know what all the negative reviews are about except that it's possibly connected to the reviewer's bed wetting issues. I... wanted fajitas tonight and got them hot and tasty. A large Margarita with that and I was happy. What more could one want? Read more
