Burger connoisseur here - my hubs and I have tried many burger joints here in South Tahoe and so far, Chico's is our favorite.... We are frequenters! If you like classic burgers and sides, check out this place. What we love is how quality the beef is (fromOverland) and the french fries and onion rings! Other items we've tried: Hot dog - 5/5. No frills hot dog with all thefixin's Street tacos - 5/5 Cali burrito - 2/5. I've only tried this once, it was too beany for my liking Carne Asada fries -5/5. I like that shredded cheese is used, not nacho cheese. Portion is huge, so this is enough to be an entree orshareable The folks that work here are super friendly. Good food and good service! I love the people who own this place, they are always friendly and the food is great too! The breakfast burritos are not... expensive and all of the food is well priced actually. Everything I've tried here over the years is awesome. I'm a loyalcustomer and you should check these guys out sometime. A small business like them, who gives great service, deserves thesupport. The quality of these burgers was amazing! Picked up a bunch for a batchelor party and they all loved it! I live in Reno but the... next time I'm in town, I'll recommend this place to anyone. Only bad thing I noticed about the place is there seemed to be noAC. So it was really stuffy in there especially on the hot day. Read more
The food was good, nothing too special about the burgers, as they were standard fried burgers. The toppings, special sauce, and... brioche bun were what gave it flavor. The jalapeno cheese fries though, are amazing! Would definitely recommend an order ofthose. Milkshakes are pretty good as well, and everything is fairly priced for it being the lake Tahoe area.
