Do not come here. Me and my family came in around 8pm and they were half empty. A man who I later found out was a buffoon told... us to sit anywhere we wanted. Hungry we chose the table in front of him, he was behind the bar. The bar was empty. He thenproceeded to ignore us and start pouring himself drinks and watching a UFC fight. 15 minutes pass no service 20 minutes pass noservice, HOWEVER we watched this buffoon walk to the table next to us and give them menus. 30 minutes pass no service We left. Overall not very impressive for being in Lake Tahoe. We gave them a chance since we were staying at the hotel and it was close... by. The ladies who served us were very nice but the food just wasn't up to par for the price in my opinion. Read more
The Echo Restaurant at the Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel simply ROCKS!! A BIG Shout Out to Donna and Hector who delivered a 5 Star... Dining Experience to my Family and I while we were Vacationing in beautiful Lake Tahoe, California. Our dinner was Deliciousand our Wait Staff was the BEST in the State of California!! We were blown away by this place. One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. I highly recommend the appetizer of short rib... on toasted bread and the ravioli. I don’t even normally like pasta and I’m still thinking about how good that ravioli was.Not to mention, we also had delicious cocktails. Read more
Went for dessert but left almost immediately after we tasted the watered-down drinks. Just not a tasty place and the vibe is... not fun or welcoming. Unimpressed. There are too many other fun, more invoting options at the Village to waste your time ormoney at this establishment. Move along. Read more

Order incorrectly recorded. MR steak took 2-3 attempts to get to proper temperature, complimentary creme brûlée first attempt... tasted like burnt birthday candles without the sugar layer. Blamed on not having the proper glassware for dessert (probablyshould invest in proper glassware for dessert on the menu...)Fortunately one of our guest appreciated the effort for the firstattempt. Silver lining, server was very pleasant when present, otherwise, service was difficult to be found. Would not recommendfor quality food and attentiveness.
